I frequent at this restaurant but no longer will. On a few occasions I’ve had issues with their Crema Pasapoga being too watery when normally it’s of a thicker consistency, chewy pan con bistec and just tonight I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered another steak sandwich (pan con bistec) for pick up. The lady on the phone told me to be there in 20 minutes. I was there in 15 minutes, saw her pack my sandwich when I got to the pick up window. When I got home, which I live 5 mins from there the sandwich wasn’t even warm, the steak was super thin and the bread hard as a rock. Stale and old for sure! Mind me to tell you that the potato sticks were bland so that means they are old as well. The worst $14.10 i’ve ever paid for a terrible pan con bistec! Too bad I couldn’t upload the video of the dried out old bread. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, think twice before ordering from here. You have El Rinconcito, Palacio de Los Jugos and even Party Cake Bakery that all have amazing steak sandwiches. In case you’re wondering why I didn’t order from any of them, it’s because it was after hours and Pasapoga is open 24 hours. Sorry not sorry Pasapoga! You all need to work on the quality of your food.

In reading the latest reviews I can see pattern tat, unfortunately I must agree with.
I’m,together with my family,a long time customer ad i can’t help to notice that the quality of your food has spiraled down over te last few years.
It went from being a place where you could consistently get a good hearty meal to a place where you never knew what you were going to find sometimes bad, sometimes good again
The latest was te reason we kept going.
Unfortunately,as of late the trend has been bad every time.
My last experience was today,Sunday September 26 2025.
Food today graduated to very bad.
I ordered 3 dinners around 3pm.
Picadillo, pork chunks and ropa vieja with the corresponding sides, white rice,Maduro and an avocado salad.
The best way to describe these meals are:tasteless, greasy and didn’t seem like the work of a professional cook.
How can someone mess up white rice,it seemed like the quality of the rice was the lowest available.
The avocado salad was what you will expect.
Good bye,after so many years.

We had a nice brunch here. Coffee was excellent and so was the cafe con leche. We ordered some appetizers and I was not impressed by the breaded shrimp. That had no taste and it was no crispy, more like soggy. The plate with the plantain chips and the fried cheese was ok but not proportional. Everything else was good. Service was fast and friendly. Mango juice was good but guanabana was watered down.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Unfortunately in the recent years the food and service have lost quality. This morning I requested a toast with extra butter … our waiter takes the toast back (it was plain) and when she brought it back to me look what they did. This really is just disgusting! Shame on them!!

Was visiting some family in Miami we all want it some Cuban food, very nice place very friendly staff and very attentive. The food to me was good but I don’t think it all of them were authentic Cuban food the plantain ships were a little soggy, the congrios and milanesa steak was full of flavors and very well season the tostones a little hard for my taste . The chicken noddle soup was very good and fresh, the cerdo asado was very well season and full of flavors, my biggest issue was the flan very creamy flan and very tasty but than they put the cream on coconut on the top that made a very delicious flan super sweat and change the hole texture of the flan not authentic at all if a Cuban make a coconut flan they put the coconut inside not on the top, overall very good environment and food!

Food was delicious and service incredible, even when we were a little hurry because we were in a lunch break. We ordered “vaca frita de pollo” with rice and black beans, the taste was impressive, I thought I was having lunch at my grandma’s house, really original Cuban flavor. The antojitos always are the best. My wife had “lentejas” ufff delicious. I apologize for no posting photos but I was short on time but as I plan to go back, I’ll be updating this post with photos

I always tip even when taking out , but I don’t like when they knowingly ask you for a tip after they already charge you a take out fee . In my opinion I feel robbed . If they already charge a take out fee the tip option should be removed lots of people are being robbed.

Seems like this is a trend. I’ve been coming for years due to its great food and service. Last night I went to eat for the first time in over a year since I had moved far away. I don’t normally post too much but I had to warn people. I order a cheese burger, fries and there awesome yellow root soap puree. The soup was great but the burger was the size of a McDonalds cheeseburger and the meat was tough and gummy. My home made burgers blow it away. The fries were a tiny greasy mess glistening by the new interior lights of the place as well as the over priced new menus. Yes I was disappointed but didn’t say nothing. The menu was inaccurate on its description too. They must have hired one of those college kids working for companies that swear they can help make the business more money by adjusting prices and ingrediencies. Change is good and needed but it must be done carefully and with right intensions for the right results. Unfortunately I will not be going back. Sorry!
UPDATE: I may end up there again since my daughter lives close and loves the soup. I will let management know if there is anything wrong this time and not just ignore it since they have responded to this review. I suggest they take actions because bad reviews may be few but those that do not review and never return are large. Go back to what worked because I was advised it’s the same owners when I asked.

I had a great time at Pasapoga Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
The restaurant is open 24 hours, so you can go there any time of day or night to get your Cuban fix! They have a full menu with all kinds of dishes that will satisfy even the pickiest eater in your group.
If you’re looking for a place to eat after a night out, this is definitely the place to go because it has everything you need – great food, good prices, and excellent service! You won’t be disappointed.
They have a window area where you can walk to and get coffee, empanadas, etc. It’s perfect for people who want to grab and go.
The interior of Pasapoga is nicely decorated, too. Very clean which is always important when it comes to dining out.
This restaurant is located on the corner and has exterior seating. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy a nice meal in the fresh air. The atmosphere is very pleasant
There is a lot of parking here, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot. Just park in the lot and walk over to the restaurant. It’s easy to find – just look for the sign out front.
If you are ever in Kendall, FL stop by Pasapoga for some good eats! You won’t regret it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. It is a must try!

The arroz Moro with maduros and the espetetada de cerdo is a go! The palomilla and the bistec empanizado are very good too.
