This is a cozy, intimate restaurant that radiates warmth and charm. The atmosphere is inviting and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The food is solid — while it may not be groundbreaking, the dishes are well-prepared, satisfying, and reflect care in their preparation. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the exceptional service. Both the owner and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every guest’s needs. They create a genuine, personal experience that makes you want to return again and again. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual meal or looking for a relaxed spot to spend an evening, this restaurant delivers a memorable experience thanks to its warm vibe, decent food, and outstanding hospitality.

Each bite felt like a taste of home, and the ambiance tied it all together. It’s a clean, cozy, and lovely place to dine after a hectic day. They also serve wine. The staff is great, and the owner is very kind. I never liked ice cream for dessert until I tried the one on their menu.

The place was nice and cozy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and very flavorful. We asked for hot sauce and they made some for us. We are already planning on our next dinner there.

I’m surprised that this place doesn’t have more reviews on Google. We ordered the Dinner for Two Kabo Tray and it was delicious! The appetizer sampler allows you to try all the great samples on the menu. Then it comes with soup and salads. The main dish has large portions, and I loved the lamb chop the best. When you think you’re done with your meal, you’re not – dessert is still coming. The carrot cake and ice cream drizzled with honey were fabulous. It’s reasonably price and a great place in Lincoln Park!

I have lived around the area for 20 years and this was by far one of the best places I have ever been. The service was actually unbelievable and the owner was one of the nicest people I have ever met. The food was unbelievable and it was such an authentic meal. He gave roses to all the ladies after dinner and gave a bottle of wine as a thanks. If you are looking for a great restaurant I would hands down recommend this place and don’t even think twice about this place. 20/10 no exaggeration!!!

This is truly one of the best restaurants in Chicago. I’ve never had Persian food, and I loved the whole experience!
My book club met here for dinner and we ordered a few plates to share. We started with lentil soup, salad, and the appetizer sampler. For our entrees, we had the Persian tray (chicken and lamb) and salmon & shrimp tray and finished with the ice cream.
Not only was the food delicious but the hospitality was incredible – the owner Max came over to our table and shared his story with us. Everyone was so kind, they even gave us each roses and a bottle of wine for the table! We will absolutely be back and I will be recommending Pars Cove to everyone I know 🙂

I dont know how this place isnt always packed, and I dont understand the negative reviews.

This place is a gem, some of the best food Ive ever eaten, and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Like you can get some of the best food in the city for 2 people, be completely stuffed for under 40-50$. Insane how underappreciated this place is.

I eat here as often as I can.

ALSO… if you bring a date they will give you a rose to present to your partner after dinner. In my 35 years Ive never seen that level of thoughtfulness.

I’ve lived this city my entire life, this place is top 5 Mediterranean spots easily.

The food at Pars Cove was absolutely delicious! From the rich, creamy baba ganoush to the perfectly buttered saffron rice, tender kabob, and flavorful joojeh kabob—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.

Aside from the buttered saffron rice, the romantic ambiance—reminiscent of Persian poetry—and the perfect selection of nostalgic Iranian music made the experience even more special.

If you’re in the Lincoln Park or Lakeview area and love Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, don’t miss out on this unforgettable spot!

A small, intimate dining area that is perfect for a chill date night or hangout. The sampler was lovely, my favorite being the eggplant and the hummus. I had the vegetarian sabzi which was ok, i was looking for a bit more flavor, but it was still tasty. The lentil soup was super flavorful though and the skewers were delicious according to others in my party.

My husband booked us a table at Pars Cove for our last evening in Chicago. I am so glad we visited because the Persian food was delicious, and I loved how small and intimate the space was. We sat in the conservatory section, which had beautiful natural light and plants. We shared the sampler appetizer platter, and the bread was warm/fresh from the oven. We ordered a pitcher of sweet white sangria. It was the best either of us have ever had. My starter was The Cove salad, and my husband (vegan) had the lentil soup. Our entrees were the Vegetable Mediterranean and the Ju Jah Kabob. Dessert was a sweet bread with honey, vanilla ice cream, and cinnamon sprinkled on all. This restaurant was a top favorite.
