We had a great experience at Parrots last night! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching the Cardinals game and playing music bingo. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and casual dining and drinking experience.

Went to see a band, and it was a lot of fun. Drink specials were fun and chicken wings were good. A little on the small side, but if a good band is playing, would go back again.

Stopped in on a Sunday months ago and gave it another try on a Saturday night recently and enjoyed both visits. I had the pizza on Sunday and it really hit the spot. Just drinks on Saturday and they were great. Saturday night they had a band I enjoyed. I like the space and I like the no smoking! Can be tricky to find bars around here smoke free.

On a Monday evening we were offered the “Pizza and Wings” menu. I ordered just a basket of fries andy friend ordered wings. We were left unsure how many wings we were going to get exactly – otherwise we would have asked for additional ones as the small wings didn’t make up for the small amount you get per order. They really were not anything special as I never once her my friend give any indication that they were good at all. He did finish his plate, as did I. However this is a prime example of how a little bit of customer service would have gone a long way. Some suggestions on menu items, maybe confirming the amount of wings expected, even a follow up to check and see how the good/poor everything was would have gone a long way. Our bill should have easily been over $20/$25, it was only $9 and some change. Though the waitress got a 50% tip, it wasn’t well deserved – it was given simply because we know what it’s like to be the hospitality industry (especially right now).

A friend told me this place was under new ownership, so we decided to try it out. I’m glad we did! Restaurant was clean and in good shape. Service was prompt, accurate and friendly. Food was tasty and affordable. Fun atmosphere. Adding this to my list of favorite local eateries!
