This place is great! We first found it years ago and I really wish we lived closer to it because we would be back far more than we have been. The food is great – well priced and delicious with generous portions. The waitress we had last night was so polite and such a pleasure. The dining area is very clean, bright colors, and looks well maintained.
I had the huarache with carnitas last night and I honestly think it’s the best carnitas I’ve ever had. And a ton of it too! Husband had the burrito ahugados in green sauce with the cecina. He comically said “I’m going to need a box” because it was huge but I rarely see him not finish a meal. He finished it but it was a once in a blue moon occasion that he said “I’m full”.
We definitely need to go back here more!

We were craving Mexican and happened by this place. We’ve been disappointed with so many places in the past so we were so happy we stopped here. The restaurant is clean and bright with plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa were delicious,
especially the green salsa. My husband ordered the tostada and I had 3 steak tacos. The food was brought out quickly and so good. The steak was seasoned perfectly and tender. We’ll definitely be back! Sorry for the half finished photo, we were enjoying our food too much to remember to take a picture.

This is the ONLY Mexican restaurant I go to. You get almost an overwhelming amount of food for most of the dishes, I love it. What really made me write this review is HOW GOOD THEIR FLAN IS. The nice creamy consistency is hard to find, most places just don’t do it well. It surprised me how delicious it is, by far the best flan I’ve had here in NJ… Love this place

My kids had breaded chicken with rice and beans and grilled steak with rice and beans. Husband ordered steak burrito with red sauce, I had fish tacos, sister ordered marinated pork tacos. I enjoyed the food here. Try any of the “Mexican sandwiches” with the baked bread. You can’t go wrong. Also the portions are great relative to the prices! The meal was satisfactory and enjoyable all around. The decor, especially the chair are lively and add to the culture of the restaurant. The only issues was that it took a while for me and my family to be attended to. The restaurant wasn’t tremendously busy either. It didn’t throw if the night, just was a curious observation that might just be a part of the culture there. Also, be aware, this place is cash only. There is an ATM inside though just in case cash is not on hand. Overall a decent dining experience.

Today, Sunday, we planned to dine at this restaurant. Their website states they open at 11:30 AM. When we arrived, the doors were locked. We waited to see if they would open at 12:00 PM, but the restaurant remained closed, and a number of other customers were also waiting. I called the restaurant to inquire about their opening time, and the staff member answered, informing me that they opened at 1:00 PM. I asked if there was any signage indicating this, and she responded that there was none. I then questioned why this information isn’t posted on their website or Facebook page, and she replied, “I just work here.”
It is concerning that the restaurant allows customers to wait outside without clear communication regarding their operating hours. Such practices are unprofessional and frustrating for patrons. All the waiting customers left disappointed. Overall, I find this to be an unacceptable level of service.
