We ordered catering from Parotta Express for our daughter’s 1st birthday party and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was the highlight of the evening and every single guest raved about it.
The Mutton Biryani was hands down the star of the night — lip smacking, flavorful, and knocked it out of the park. The Parotta, their signature dish, lived up to its name and was perfectly layered and flaky. The Paneer Tikka Masala was rich and delicious, and the Kalyana Veg Biryani was a massive hit with all our vegetarian guests — so many of them came back for seconds! The Chicken 65 and Gobi Manchurian were both well seasoned and tasted great.
A special shoutout to Sri who went above and beyond to make our event a success. From helping us structure the menu to suggesting the right quantities for ~60 guests, Sri made sure everything was planned perfectly. The portions were spot on, and nothing ran short. His attention to detail and genuine care truly made our event stress-free and wonderful.
If you’re looking for authentic, homestyle South Indian catering that delivers on taste and service, Parotta Express is the way to go. We will definitely be ordering from them again!

We ordered food for our housewarming celebration, and everything was absolutely delicious! All our guests were very happy and kept complimenting the taste.
The veg salna with parotta had an authentic flavor just like what we used to enjoy in Madurai — truly nostalgic and flavorful. The Kalyana veg biryani received the highest votes from our guests, and the gulab jamun was perfectly sweet and very tasty.
A special thanks to Chef Sri for suggesting the right quantity of food and for providing great support in helping us select the menu. Everything was well-organized and perfectly planned.

Discovered a little gem for authentic tamil cuisine ( might be a broad usage) which is very close to my heart. I tried their vegetarian virundhu, which is one of the menu items that really showcases the chefs passion n creativity. This was one of the best thalis, the sambar, rasam, poriyal , the vatha kolambu was flavorful and was not over spiced. The porotta was soft n flaky as it should be. Fried rice was a replica in flavor as I has had in Tamilnadu. The service is awesome, the chef Srimurugan and coowner Saravanan are very friendly and closely interact with customers . Waiting to bring in my family to savor the rest of the menu , the biriyanis, karuvadu kolambu etc. Couple of minor call outs were the gobi 65 breading tasted a little sweet to my liking, and the boti fry lacked a bit of the masala . Surely a ‘will return again” place.
Update : went the next day with family , met Siva who is also a partner and equally passionate about food. We tried the idly , sambar n chutney , thie mutton meals and kal dosa with mutton salna. The idly was soft, served hot and the chutneys hit the right spot on flavor unlike many other restaurants. The salna I would say might need little more flavor-work ( again comparing to the ones I have had in Triichy n Madurai). Best wishes to the team to keep making awesome experiences for the nostalgic foodies from tamilnadu.

I was craving authentic South Indian parotta with salna and started searching for a good place when I came across this spot. I ended up ordering the mutton meals, and it did not disappoint. The parotta and salna were also really good—soft, flaky parottas paired perfectly with the flavorful salna. The mutton gravy was absolutely amazing—rich, well-spiced, and comforting. The mutton was cooked really well, juicy, and tender. The portion size was generous too, making it a very satisfying meal overall. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re craving good South Indian non-veg food.

I have been to this shop past 3 years. Old management was not up to the mark but I visited today after management change and noticed the atmosphere changed. Menus changed and quality changed too. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk guys. I ordered take away chicken kothu parotta , lollipop and paneer 65. I ordered both wet and dry kothu parotta. Taste and quantity is good. Lollipop taste like Tamilnadu style. Paneer 65 is ok too. I like to give one suggestion, paneer 65 is bit oily. Kothu parotta is mushy. I was looking for Tamilnadu style dry kothu parotta with curry leaf smell and masala. Will visit again to try biryani and meals.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience! The idiyappam served with coconut milk was soft and delicious, and the parotta with paneer butter masala was rich and flavorful. I also tried the kothu paratha and paneer fried rice — both were well-seasoned and satisfying. Great taste, generous portions, and friendly service — highly recommend!

We went to Parotta Express as a group and ordered a variety of veg and non-veg dishes, including appetizers. The food was just average nothing special in terms of flavor or presentation. Most items were okay, but not something we’d go back for.
For a one time visit, I wouldn’t really recommend it. If you’re looking for standout taste or a memorable experience, this place might not be the best choice. Service and atmosphere were fine, but overall, it didn’t leave much of an impression

Came in to buy egg bonda and unfortunately they didn’t have it at the moment. But they made sure I didn’t walk out empty-handed — the chef prepared it fresh right away and even offered free tea to enjoy the rainy weather. Great service and warm hospitality!
