If I could give 20 for service I would. Male/female doesn’t matter… I have anxiety. I HATE dining alone. But sometimes I do. The bartender/waitress at Parnells was top notch. Absolutely 100 % calmed my nerves and made dining alone not a big deal. Thank you girl! Thank you! It’s important to note that she didn’t TRY to make me comfortable, it just came natural for her.

We have been coming from Madison to get their fish fry . It’s been great, just last week me and a friend just entered the restaurant and I had held the door open for a couple. The woman practically ran over to the hostess and checked in , in front of us. We explained what just happened to the hostess and we were just completely ignored. That was enough for us to leave and go somewhere else, I sent an email and didn’t get any sort of resolution, just a defensive response.. probably from the woman who ignored us in the first place. Restaurants come and go, experiences like this shouldn’t be ignored

Great little gem! Always have the best Friday fish fry and the 1/2 price broasted chicken on Sundays! Served by the nicest staff! The drinks are delicious just get there early as this place is small and fills up quickly!

Our first visit to Parnell’s Place. I ordered the 4 piece roasted chicken, my dinner date ordered the king prime rib dinner. Our server was very friendly and easy going, timely with refilling our drinks as well. Food was served in a fair amount of time. The chicken was crispy and hot! Just what I was looking forward to. The broasted potatoes were good and no heavy breading or batter to over complicate them. My companion ordered the sweet potato tots and they were delicious especially with the sweet butter served with them. The entrees were very good, and we would definitely visit again. But the best part? The slaw lol we are picky about our slaw lol can’t be too sweet or too sour- it has to be just right to meet our salad standard LOL this slaw was perfect! Just enough sweet and just enough tang in the light dressing, and celery seed in it as well.
The weather the evening of our visit was warm for Dec 28- high temp of 47* and sunny. My regular body temp runs warm to sweating. I took a light jacket with me and I was comfortable in their dining room.

I love this place! We had a group of 10. They were quite busy (as usual) For a Monday Night. Menu has actually Dinners. Not just Bar and Grill food like most places in town these days. Food came out fast and hot! Very reasonable prices!

We had our first visit to Parnell’s on a Thursday night and enjoyed everything very much. The food and drinks were delicious with generous portions and we were pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced our meals were. I wasn’t able to have a Cosmo as they only do basic bartending but I did survive

Hometown atmosphere with a bar up front and tables in the back for dining. Reasonable prices , lots to choose from the menue. We went for Friday night fish which was wonderful. I even had frog legs. It gets crowded early and they don’t take reservations except for certain nights. They have an unique system. When you come in the door for eating, they give you a number and call for you to be seated.

The atmosphere was fine. Although, the majority of the patronage were white people. The only black people were me and my cousin. The customer service was great and the food was good. It would not be a good place if you are concerned with being the only person of color in the restaurant.

Autumn was our waitress last night. Incredible service! We eat out often and it’s been a long time since we had service like this. Wife said the fish was good, but I had the frog legs. My one of two times a year up here at EAA. Love the vibe. Yearly tradition now.
