Loved this place so much we went back twice during our week stay. Everything that was supposed to be crispy was crispy. Everything that was suppose to be moist was moist. All of it had good color. The prices were reasonable. The staff was attentive and just wanted you to have a good time.

Amazing! Ate outside on the back deck of the restaurant. The servers are so helpful and patient. Great service. The smoked fish platter was shared and there was more than enough lox and white fish for two people. The latke and blintzes are also great. I wish I had a reason to be in Silver Spring more often.

Yum yum. My and first and favorite deli. Chopped liver and stuffed cabbage, can’t beat it. My first liver plate and it was delicious.

The pickle bar is awesome. Have ordered breakfast, lunch, and dessert here. Food is good. Tables are a little closer to each other than I like (to the point that waiters can’t go in-between tables in some places) so it does feel a bit crowded. You’d have to eat outside or get a booth for more space (not practical when it’s busy or if weather isn’t cooperating). We sat down and ordered before the next table over came in, but they got their food a few minutes early (and I worked in a restaurant and understand some foods take longer to cook then others, this was not the case). Otherwise the service was reasonable. Their desserts are pretty and yummy (had a brownie sundae).

My husband and I just moved from the West Coast to a place right around the corner from the Parkway Deli and Restaurant, and we can not say enough positive things about this place. The food is absolutely delicious. We have eaten here for several meals while unpacking, and everything has been fantastic. The service is wonderful and friendly. They made us feel so welcome and at home. This is definitely our new go-to spot with so many options and all-day breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food. And if you hate food, this place will make you fall in love.

I’m originally from New Jersey where we take delis and diners very seriously. Parkway somehow excels at being both of these things. The takeaway counter in the front is excellent and delicious (if often very busy). They also have a small market with chips, alcohol, baked goods and other small items. The restaurant is in the back and is definitely at least in the spirit of a diner, even if it doesn’t claim to be one. Excellent breakfast with quick and friendly service. Highly recommended for your more affordable breakfast/brunch needs

Love the back outdoor patio. Very interesting during yesterdays thunderstorm and heavy rain. Always good service. I tried the spinach pie for the first time. It’s ok… heavy on the pastry. Every other time I’ve been there is outstanding. It’s a local gem.

Very popular restaurant. Always seems to be a line. Good selection of items on the menu. The pickle bar is the main reason I love the place. The atmosphere is a little outdated, but that’s part of the charm.

Service: I usually love getting food here but the past couple times we waited and weren’t called for our food when it was ready. This time around, we ordered online for carryout and were informed that we’d be texted when the food would be ready + during peak hours the food would take longer. I waited up to 50min for the text before I called and was told the food had been ready for a while, but that their system often glitches, hence the lack of text…

Jewish deli. What more there is to say? The pickles, beets, and pepperocinis bar is awesome. The chili is delicious. The rare roast beast is delicious. OMG, I always take home at least 3 pounds of the home made turkey breast from the deli; it makes great sandwiches and awesome turkey salad.
