I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The food was over the top. I had the meatloaf meal with broccoli casserole and mashed potatoes. My family and I will be back. I advise everyone to go try them out if you’re looking for some really good home cooked food.

This is a tasty stop if you are looking for Kentucky comfort food. My five stars are because the food is down-home good, but also because it’s all sourced by the owners farm when possible and finally, this area is dying for anything non-fast-food chain. All the super expensive restaurants are on the locally sourced hype… that’s just how it’s done here by default. My open-faced sandwich was slathered in brown gravy and reminiscent of old-time diners and dives. The rest of our party had the all-you-can-eat fish fry like they used to get in Wisconsin. They were pleased as well.

I’VE TRIED TO EAT HERE 3 TIMES IN THE PAST YEAR. DROVE THERE AND THEY WEREN’T OPEN TWICE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE OPEN. SHOWED UP, DIDN’T EVEN HAVE THE HOURS ON THE DOORS. WIFE THOUGHT THEY WERE CLOSED PERMANENTLY, BUT CHAIRS WERE STILL INSIDE.This was the Parksville location.Sorry to the other Farmhouse locations.

The restaurant itself is super cute. Felt very comfortable in there. The service wasn’t great. Our waitress didn’t know much about the menu and kept forgetting things. Just figured she was new. The food was awful. Our party was so hungry that we ate most of it. Everything lacked seasoning. The meats tasted microwaved and smelled awful. You could tell a lot of the food was store bought and just slapped together. We asked for a partial refund on one meal and the manager wasn’t receptive. Said they would offer a partial refund and never did. For the amount we paid, we could’ve went to a nice place. We just wanted to support local. It’s unfortunate because I get asked about this place all of the time. I wanted to try it so I could recommend it but now I’ll be doing the opposite. Shame.

We drove an hour to check out this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We went on a Saturday night during Octoberfest so they were out of a few of the popular menu items, but that forced us to try some new things and we were very pleased. The portions were generous and the decor was modern and cute. The fan favorites at our table were the loaded french fries and fried chicken dinner. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was great, very patient with our group that asked for a lot of things…one…at…a…time. Even the owner stopped by our table to chat and thanked us for coming all this way to support their business. We will definitely be back!!

The staff were friendly & the food was ok. We had a burger with fries, catfish meal & chicken parmesan sandwich. The hush puppies looked burnt but was told that’s how the oil cooks them. Personally, I would change the hush puppy recipe because they were not that good. They should also have some music playing so it’s not so quiet. Nothing really stood out to make us want to go back.
