Great experience overall! Staff was super kind to work with setting up our reservation and ensuring we had the Beef Wellington pre-ordered. All staff on site was friendly and welcoming! All our food was all delicious as well! Reservations only so make sure to call ahead! I was able to get in calling 2-3 days in advance.

CASH ONLY RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. That said, get you some cash and make a reservation to eat at this literal down home, double wide manufactured house up a dusty hill beside a corral with horses. Reservations are required because they only use fresh ingredients with no waste. If you want fancy, high falutin, go somewhere else. But if you want damn good food in a warm and friendly place that the locals frequent, then this is your place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Cash or Check only! They don’t take card.
Great little spot tucked away up in the hills. Nice little scenic drive while you get to your destination is never bad.
Great food! Fantastic French toast. They even give you fresh fruits with your order. Extremely welcoming staff. I mean the host offered for us to eat first and then go grab money since we didn’t have any cash.

Food is awesome and the portions are huge!
One thing to note is that they only take cash or check.
I took pictures of their breakfast and dinner menus, but as always those are subject to change. Some things on the menu require a 24 hour notice.
It’s recommended to call and make a reservation but if they are not busy they will take you.
Make sure to save room for dessert, also a large portion!
If you think you’ll have leftovers you might want to take your own to go box as they don’t provide one.

Found using Google Maps. Visiting friends that have been coming to Ruidoso regularly for years. They had never heard of it.. Great find! Food and service was great. It was an adventure and an experience.
1. Reservations needed.
2. Cash only. Gratuity included.
3. Price? Quality of the food as good as higher tiered restaurants in DFW. Quaint setting and peaceful. Chef and waitress so pleasant and accommodating.
Will certainly come back when in the area and will be the highlight meal.

I’m a little apprehensive about spreading the good news, this is the best place to eat and relax within an hour’s striking distance of Cloudcroft. Fortunately they give other restaurants a small window of opportunity to get their food “out there” when there closed a few days a week.

This is the place to go if you want delicious breakfast and good sized portions! Service was excellent. They only accept cash, so don’t be surprised if you try and pay with card.

Visiting from out of town, this was a great experience. Although they’re located a little far out and they only accept cash or check, the service and food were great. Highly recommend.

I have no words that can equate to my experience at this Gem hidden within La Luz New Mexico. I chose from the lunch menu and enjoyed potato skins and my entree was the best country fried steak. That I can simply can only describe as an infusion of steam that left me wondering about the kitchen appliances in use. Bravo to the Nuckleweed Palace.
