Average food. The potatos were a bit undercooked, the English muffin wasn’t quite toasted enough. My chai latte was great! And my husband’s food was also what we would consider average good. Nothing to write home about but also not a wasted stop

We visited this place for lunch one afternoon & it was wonderful! Luckily, we were within walking distance, otherwise parking looked a bit tricky—but it’s located in a convenient enough place where you could park in the neighborhoods and walkover. Everything was so great, from the service to the atmosphere to the food! We had such a great time visiting & will certainly be back for more. Big shoutout to their fries & housemade ranch—big fan of both of those. The burger was wonderful & cooked perfectly. Just a wonderful lunch spot all around! Can’t wait to come back and visit for breakfast.

Cute grill in Aggieville in Manhattan, Kansas. I ordered the Parkside Breakfast Plate and I had my 2 eggs scrambled, two slices of bacon, sourdough english muffin and breakfast potatoes. Great made to order breakfast. Everything on my plate arrived hot or very warm. The eggs were not overcooked and were seasoned nicely. The breakfast potatoes were diced kinda small. I prefer mine larger because they have the tendency to be more dried out like these were. I just used ketchup to perk them up. The bacon was tasty and delicious. I couldn’t pass on the sourdough english muffin which was so tasty. Very friendly and inviting grill and clean. If it was possible I would have given them 4.5 stars.

Stopped for a bite and enjoyed it quite a bit – the various benedicts we ordered were yummy and quite creative, and the outside dining area looks like an enjoyable place to hang out. Didn’t get to try dinner menu but all the items sound appealing.

I was glad to see somebody finally do something with this building that is cool. It’s such a great location. They’ve done a great job with outdoor seating and activities. Lots of things for people to do. Food was very good. It would be nice to see a couple more dinner choices on the menu that are under $20 though. The service was great. Our server really engaged with us and added to the fun of our evening. For anyone out of town I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Very cool ambience of a renovation of an old gas station/car shop on the corner across from city Park. It’s retro with a modern twist. There’s a sense of community with the indoor and outdoor seating. I went this week for cocktails with friends after work, and then met my family for brunch on Sunday, and both experiences were excellent. The menu is thoughtful, inclusive, local, and international all at the same time without being pretentious. Everything is from scratch, tasted delicious, and the service was top-notch. Make sure to call ahead for reservations because there’s a reason why there’s a wait! It’s well worth it!

Gas station turned bistro cafe. Great location across from park. Very family friendly. Menu very trendy. Service excellent and everyone friendly. Johnny Cake Sandwich was my choice. My taste buds did not know what to think. Savory with a little sweet along with fries and Chimichurri sauce. I should have asked for a sunny side up egg. I like it running over my meat….lol. May have been better hot but served came out warm/chilly. I also had a house baked cream cheese danish. All bakery items made in house. Very good but had to ask for it to be warmed up since it was ice cold.

First foremost didn’t know they seasonally change there menu. Was wanting a specific item which was not available on the current new menu. We did a sample of the Chipotle sausage gravy which has a good taste just a bit watery, but figured just sample issue. We ordered the Biscuit and gravy and well the watery gravy was there and the flaky biscuit was not, along with a very odd tasting/looking type biscuit. The second plate was the Parkside Breakfast Plate with a side side of Chiplote Sausage gravy, that meal was real good again watery gravy. The bacon strips were awsome. Service was great, attended to needs by all. Price for the meal was good for a breakfast. Unfortunately the photos explain the issue.

In a city full of boring fast food chains this place is a gem!! Our food and desserts were beyond delicious! On top of that the ambience and customer service put it over the top! One of our favorite places in Manhattan hands down!! We got the ham and cheese on sourdough (would absolutely order again), cheeseburger with fries (fries are never frozen), Italian on focaccia (highly recommend), cinnamon roll (the best we’ve ever had), strawberry cheesecake (to die for), brownie, and sweet hand pie (all of us gave it a thumbs up.)

The johnny cakes are a can’t miss! Paired w/ fried chicken and spicy syrup is perfection. The raspberry lemon soda is the perfect tart complement to a rich entree. The dill pickle chips that came with the reuben are also top notch!
