I have driven by this place many times, and the smoky aroma tempts me each time, but this time, I finally stopped. The brisket sandwich was excellent and the sauce selections at the table were perfect. The mashed potatoes and corn muffin were also excellent. Its worth making the 30 minute trip from my house!

Not far from Omaha metro area, the trip is worth it. It’s on the west side of Ashland . The beef brisket was very tender with great smoky favor and not dried out it was sliced very thin which is something I like. The sides were excellent, and the right amount. My wife tried the pulled pork and rib tips, they were very tasty, and had a great smoky favor. For dessert the caramel apple cobbler was a pleasant addition to the meal. It’s a must have. Excellent service! Our server was very professional and helpful.

The food here is delish! I sat at the bar and got a drink while I waited for my food. I decided to do take out. The bartender was great! She makes a great Long Island! All the wait staff was very friendly. I got the 2 meat combo with catfish and rib tips with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes! My favorite was the catfish. I will definitely be going back for more!

The food was really good. The sandwich was much larger than what I was expecting which was awesome. My wife and I also ordered the onion rings appetizer which was fried to perfection. The onion stayed in the onion ring if that makes sense. Overall, great food, great price point and friendly staff.

We have been passing by this restaurant for quite some time, and it always smells so good as we drive by, but we’re usually on a time crunch, so never stopped. That changed recently, and I can say that we WILL be back!

Long story short … we ordered 3 meals and an appetizer … they were wonderful. Priced right, very tasty, the service was awesome, even though they were packed!

We opened with non-alcoholic drinks, which were quickly brought out. Then ordered an Onion Flower as an appetizer. It came out quickly, was cooked to perfection (I’ve had them fried so long they are burned at other places!), and the dipping sauce was amazing!

I ordered a Smokehouse Burger which came out perfect — I always eat ground beef well done, and sometimes they’re overcooked — this one was juicy and flavorful, with just enough toppings!

The other orders were the Texas Beef Brisket, one with regular fries, and one with Sweet Potato Fries — all of which came out juicy, tasty, and hot.

The portions are large — not only did we not go home hungry, but we took ‘to go’ boxes — which to me is a double positive, as we had lunch the next day too!

Highly recommend getting off I-80 and stopping by — and don’t let the full parking lot fool you, they have a LOT of space inside — we grabbed the last space in front and were still seated immediately!

I posted some pics in this review … the one, with the 420, is an homage to their exit off Route 80!

Our meal was delicious, incredible quality and value. I almost creid tears of joy eating their fried apples and biscuits. Best BBQ near/around Omaha. Looking forward to eating here again.

We found this place while staying in Ashland on our family road trip from Vancouver, Washington. This place was amazing. We were greeted by a friendly staff and taken to our table. We started off with a blooming onion, it was delicious (far better than that other chain restaurant). The ribs were perfectly cooked, the meat fell off the bone, yet not mushy. The brisket melted in your mouth. The beans and macaroni and cheese was very flavorful. Everything we ordered was top notch. Wish we lived closer. We will absolutely return if we get back out that way.

Pretty good BBQ with generous portions. Wishing the brisket and pork was a little more juicy. Service was a bit slow as well. A solid option if you’re craving BBQ.

Tyler was our server and went above and beyond to ensure that we had an outstanding visit. The blooming onion and sampler platter was more than enough food for the two of us. I highly recommend anyone in the area stop in for a meal and a drink.

From the outside it doesn’t look like much but don’t judge a book by its cover. The food and service was fantastic. Every single person working there went above and beyond to make sure you had what you needed. The Texas beef brisket sandwich was so good. Easy on and off from Rt 80 too.
