This place is an absolute gem! I was in Des Moines for a weekend and my airbnb was right by this place so when to check it out and I kept going back two days in a roll. I tried a couple of banh mi with cold cuts and the special skillet combo. Everything was delicious. The baguette was toasted, filled with stuffing balanced between different cold cuts and bbq pork and pickled veggie and cilantro. You can surely taste the creamy pate and butter on the top inner walls of the baguette. And they have a 5+1 deals which we took advantage of!!

Our first experience with Vietnamese sandwiches was delicious! I got the #1 special, and I would definitely get it again. We ordered the Boba teas with 50% less syrup and it was still plenty sweet. My husband had a corn dog with cheese, and encrusted with Ramen noodles. It was also yummy!

Corn dogs were just ok. Never had a corn dog with just mozzarella. 2 of my party got it thinking a hot dog would be in it. Staff and in store and online menu need to be consistent and better explanation. Menus are misleading. Not all the deserts listed online were in store. I got half and half crispy ramen. couldn’t believe a corn dog with just mozzarella was more than the original or half an half even with cash or card charge. Not worth 7 dollars a piece. Milk tea was ok. The best part were the desserts. The chocolate trio and double chocolate croissant were great. My party said the macaroons were good. I would not recommend taking kids here. The main chairs to the tables have fabric on them and had stains on them when I sat down. This place is more into ambience than making quality products. It was after noon on a Saturday and there were 3 other people in the sitting area. Florida locations much better. Only went to this one because I thought it would be good like what I experienced in Florida. Won’t recommend. **On top of all that I went in on Aug 26 after leaving I saw a Facebook post that said spend 40 dollars get a select snack bag free offer ends august 31. I spent 40 dollars on one charge and 7 on the other. maybe the clerk who took both orders didn’t know but another clerk should have stepped in and mentioned something on the first or 2nd order. there were at least 7 other people working up front that I saw that day and as stated they weren’t busy. Update: they did honor my request for the snack bag when I showed the post. luckily the employee who took my original order was working the day I went back **

This was my first visit, and the food was impressive. They were busy, and the employee that took my order was distracted as she was watching other customers, and I had to ask her to complete my order, she didn’t seem very engaged. She couldn’t really explain the menu or state recommendations.

Food was good, I didn’t really like the sauce on the skillet but the meat and baguette with the eggs were incredible. I also really liked the bubble teas, although they were a little too sweet for my liking. I am giving 4 stars for service because although the server who took my order was very polite and curt, there were others who didn’t seem to be doing much. The girl with the nose piercing and highlights was sitting on her phone for 90% of our stay while customers waited and all the other employees seemed overwhelmed doing multiple tasks at a time. I am giving 4 stars for atmosphere because of the above complaints, but also because there was sound coming from their phones that was very audible and the music on the speaker was too loud. Besides that, the building itself was very nice, the construction was sleek and modern and it was relatively clean, save for a few stains on the table.

Had the vegetarian sandwich, seitan was amazing. Korean corn dogs where extremely decedent to say the least. Bahn mi was huge for the price, bread was wonderful.
