I am not going to say that this is the most authentically French place in the world, but as an evocation of a particular romantic, elegant idea about Paris in the popular imagination, it is quite peaceful and lovely. I stopped in here multiple times when I took the train from Oakland into San Francisco for a conference and walked from Embarcadero to the conference hotel and embraced the lively creative energy of the city in the morning. I was in a bit of a rush both times, so I had only enough time to stop into the store, look at all of the superbundance of pastries on display as I waited in line, and then order one and rush out and eat as I walked. Still my experience was quite positive, and I have a fondness for this place.

Ordered delivery. It arrived in a reasonable time, but the food was extremely disappointing. This was an older sandwich, with fake eggs and filled with preservatives! Way overpriced, considering it was supposed to be fresh made. Save yourself the headache and order from another restaurant.

Appreciate the help of staff today! I wanted a cortado and my barista made it happen. I understand it isn’t part of the menu but I really appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond and beyond! Overall location was well kept and clean. My family’s go-to cake is the blueberry chiffon, it never disappoints! Super light and not too sweet.

When you buy a cake for a special birthday and it’s not what you expect. The cakes have a cream that probably melts and the box doesn’t have anything that leaves the cake fixed in the center. Totally a disappointment when we opened the box

Terrible Experience. Ordered directly on your website instead of going to delivery platforms to support your business. However, the delivery was cancelled in the last second without any notice or explanation.
Called to ask why. And they blame Doordash, without giving any refund. Ironically, it’s not even delivered through DoorDash. People’s celebration becomes people’s tear in the cold rain in San Francisco. Very very bad customer experience.

I placed an order for pastries and clearly requested delivery at 5:00 p.m. However, by 6:00 p.m., the order had still not arrived. When I called the store to follow up, the staff member informed me that no one had come to pick up the order for delivery. When I asked to cancel the order, the staff replied that he was not authorized to cancel and would have to ask the boss, and then hung up the phone.
This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. I made my order in good faith and expected timely service and basic courtesy. Instead, I received no communication, no apology, and no resolution — only rudeness and delay.

I got the chocolate raspberry cake slice. So yummy! The cashier was quick and friendly! I didn’t eat inside but the atmosphere was nice Editing to add: the cake is light and fluffy, and not too sweet. The frosting as well is really good, tasting light and not too sweet. The fresh strawberry and blueberry that decorated the cake were very good, the raspberries inside were delicious. I will definitely be stopping by there more often!
