The place has a great location, clean interior, and friendly staff.
But lately, inventory management seems off — even seasonal drinks weren’t available on a weekend afternoon.
The slice cake I got seemed old; the cream was completely dried out, and the strawberry on top was hard and tasted like dried fruit. Whole cakes still look nice, but the slices feel like they’ve been sitting out too long.
And..
Even though there were two staff members, no one responded when I called — I ended up waiting a long time with no one around.

I ordered a holiday cake for pickup today, but when I arrived, the store did not have my order at all. They offered a different cake instead, and since I needed one urgently for an event that same day, I reluctantly agreed.
The replacement cake was smaller and less expensive, and I was told I could purchase a “Happy Birthday” sign to even out the price. Because I was in a rush, I went along with it.
The staff seemed unsure of how to handle the situation, and there was no clear apology for not having my original order. It almost felt like the mistake was being placed on me. When I got home, I discovered mold on the cake. While I should have checked before leaving, this should never happen.
Overall, the service was inadequate and very disappointing. I do not plan to return.
UPDATE: Corporate did respond initially and told me they had reached out to the store and that the store would be contacting me directly. I waited over a week and was never contacted. I then followed up with corporate two additional times requesting an update, and they stopped responding altogether. The lack of follow-through and communication has been extremely disappointing.

First time at this location, I called two minutes before they close and they were so accommodating that they stayed open for me after closing time, when I got there they were so nice and made me feel valued as a customer I purchased a whole cake and a slice of rainbow cake.
The cake I got was a blueberry chiffon cake it looked amazing and it tasted very delicious.
Overall the level of service was excellent and the cake tasted amazing.

I have been at this Paris Baguette location in La Habra many times to choose birthday cakes and other special occasion cakes for my family ❤️ ! One of our family members has a birthday this month ☺️! So every year at this time of year, there are also seasonal holiday cakes ✨ ❄️ ⛄️as well !
I was really tempted to choose a cute holiday cake with green tea mocha powder creating the “lawn” around the miniature house ! But because one of our family members can not eat any kind of powder without coughing, I had to settle on a more simplistic chocolate cake , which was still really delicious ! But just wasn’t as seasonal as the holiday cakes !
I haven’t actually sat down here for coffee ☕️ and pastries because I always get everything usually “to go.” But I have gotten various pastries to go for me and my family ❤️, and they are really delicious !
There is plenty of seating both inside and outside the bakery for friends and family to catch up with ☺️!

I’ve frequented this location before but never again. I came in recently to one of the managers, Mrs . Park yelling at one of the workers. She greeted me and continue to berate the poor worker. For one that type of behavior is extremely deplorable, there is no reason to treat workers like that. Secondly, she continued the behavior with customers in the store. The staff took my order while the manager refuse to let up her nagging. If she has no shame doing this in-front of customers imagine behind close doors . I refuse to support a business which such hostile management. Even the energy of the bakery felt heavy and uneasy, and that was for me as a customer. Imagine having to work under someone which such lack of respect for others. Untill there is true change to her sinister treatment of staff I won’t be back. Extremely, disappointed.

NEVER EVER WILL I COME BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! My son had specially requested me to come to Paris Baguette to get his favorite croissants. I went up to this worker, short mushroom hair with some grey strands, older, korean lady wearing an apron with a MASSIVE ATTITUDE. I simply asked where the croissants were located and she told me to “FIND IT YOURSELF”. Simply unacceptable. No one should every be treated this way. I’ve always taught my son to treat others the way he wants to be treated. If she was my son and she treated me this way, I would immediately slap her across the face. Terrible experience 0/100!!!

Upon one of my visits to this location I experienced the most humiliating situations ever. The manager at the moment Mrs.Park was yelling at one of the employees. Not happy with embarrassing the employee in front of everyone she even argued with the customers who asked her to be professional and not be rude to the employee. People like Mrs.Park give this location a deplorable and negative presentation. As a paying customer I ask that there is actions taken to discipline this inhumane, rude and unprofessional behavior. Until this is done I will no longer be visiting this location.
