The Paris Baguette in Ramsey is an exceptional spot that truly elevates the bakery experience. From the moment you step in, the welcoming aroma and elegant displays—reminiscent of a classic French patisserie—set the stage for quality. Everything I’ve tried, from the buttery, flaky croissants to the perfectly balanced fruit tarts, is absolutely delicious and clearly made from scratch with real ingredients. A major highlight is that their cakes, and they are not overly sweet, a rarity in the U.S. that makes their desserts a must-try. Combined with friendly service and reasonable prices, this location never disappoints.

I placed a scheduled delivery order through Uber Eats for a whole cake. Instead, I received a single slice. I called the store to explain the issue, and they could barely locate my order in their system. I was told I needed to come to the store with the slice and the receipt in order to receive the cake I had already paid for.
It was a Saturday evening and my house was full of guests. I had to leave my own gathering to drive to the store and correct an error that was not mine. After returning the slice, the employee handling the situation asked me, “And… do you want the whole cake?”
Considering I had placed and paid for a whole cake — including taxes, Uber Eats fees, delivery, and tip — I was honestly speechless. Of course I wanted the whole cake. That’s what I ordered and paid for.
Mistakes happen. However, how they are handled makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing from start to finish.

5 stars all around! The Ramsey location is one of my favorite spots for fresh, high-quality pastries and baked goods. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm aroma of freshly baked bread and freshly brewed coffee. There is an elegant display of cakes, croissants, and sandwiches that look straight out of a French patisserie.

First time visiting a Paris Baguette location and we were very satisfied! The girls in the front end were very friendly and quick. We got two cake slices for my dad’s birthday and loved that there were so many options. I also tried the Korean iced coffee and it was good. A little sweeter than I’d like but it was fine. I’d definitely visit this location again.

We have tried the chocolate croissants and a slice of mocha cake—both were fresh and delicious. The coffee was also quite good. Parking is manageable.

But the real standout was the Dubai Chocolate Matcha Latte. It was beyond delicious, and the barista even added a thoughtful touch by crafting two perfect hearts on top, truly made my day! Plus, I was able to earn points with my order, which is a nice bonus.
I highly recommend Paris Baguette in Mahwah for anyone looking for delicious baked goods, excellent drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere!

Had a wonderful experience at this brand-new location! The baked goods were delicious and there was so much variety and options. I especially loved the pastries with fresh fruits and the buttery croissants! Service was so friendly and the ambience was welcoming, definitely will keep coming to visit!

This is normally my favorite bakery location, which is why today’s experience was so disappointing. While waiting to pay and order a drink, I noticed that the counter area had long black hair on it and appeared dirty. The coffee station, including the creamer area, and the garbage/tray area were also unclean.
The young cashier’s uniform was visibly dirty, and she was wearing black gloves while handling food. She removed my croissants from a white container that had caramel sauce on it and placed them into a box. Immediately afterward, she went to prepare my strawberry smoothie, touching her nose multiple times with the same gloves.
It was extremely upsetting and honestly disgusting, especially during flu season. This location is usually very clean and well run, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses cleanliness and food-handling practices, because this place is normally excellent.
