Parcelle is an online wine retailer and hospitality group based in New York City. Our restaurant and wine bar locations in Manhattan share many overarching similarities. They’re both outfitted in vintage furniture and serve as a place to drop by for a glass of wine or to enjoy a bottle from the 500+ list with a full dinner menu. While the lists are unique, you’ll find everything from esoteric natural wines to highly collectible Burgundy and Barolo on both, as well as sommeliers to offer guidance. I’m not into wine but I found the experience enjoyable. The service was great and since I went at opening, it wasn’t crowded. Eric was super knowledgeable and guided us through the selection. The decor of the place, down to the toilet, reminded me of a bar on a wooden ship.

I picked this place for my birthday and i did the correct thing. Right when you walk in, you instantly fell in love with the atmosphere, design, lighting and everything that you’re eyes can see. We had olivas, and ricotta to start and then the pork sandwich with provolone and the chicken with mushrooms. Every single dish, delicious except for the dessert, was just 2 simple cookies from the bodega. Our server and the rest of the staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back.

Parcelle Wine Bar has a lot of potential, but it misses the mark in a few key areas. From the outside, it looks like a charming, intimate spot for wine lovers, but the experience inside feels quite different. The music is surprisingly loud—so much so that even the servers struggle to hear customers, which takes away from what should be a relaxed and refined atmosphere.
The wine list is quite minimal, which can work if well-curated, but in this case, it felt a bit too limited. While the food itself was enjoyable, the suggested wine pairings didn’t quite complement the dishes, which was a bit disappointing. A good pairing should enhance both the wine and the food, but here, it felt more like an afterthought.
Overall, Parcelle has a nice aesthetic and decent food, but refining the ambiance and improving the wine selections—and how they’re paired—would go a long way in creating a better experience for wine enthusiasts.

Dropped by here on Thursday night just before their 5pm opening and really appreciated the waiter inviting me in early. Thursdays, it turns out, is when they have a late afternoon wine tasting session starting at 4pm (I believe it’s $25 plus whatever you eat/drink). It’s a very chill space, nice vibe and the wine recommendation was terrific. I also ordered the anchovy toast which was AMAZING. The ricotta with veggies was too bland for my tastes. Bottom Line: Beautiful space but I found the seating (beautiful as it is) to be awkward and uncomfortable. The solution is to have a group of 4 or more so that you can snag a table – especially the big oval table which looks gorgeous.

such a vibey wine bar! great wine, fun patio, good food and great location. a must try. the wine options are fantastic and the summer patio makes each sip better. the small bites are an incredible pairing to every glass. the candle/lowlit environment inside make it a great date/calming evening location.

A wine bar can’t hang its hat on having good food so when I go to a wine bar I expect to taste a very memorable or interesting wine (not necessarily expensive or really high quality wine – but I expect to taste something interesting or different). I didn’t really get that from here. We tried two different bottles and I was not impressed.
The accompaniments were pretty good though but they were small dishes and you should eat beforehand.
Also, it was kinda hard to catch our server. Granted, he did check up on us a few times but when we were ready to order it was hard to flag him down

So, we went there and spent $212 for 4 people and we had to go somewhere else afterwards to eat. 3 beers and one glass of white wine, the rest was food. And it was not enough food to the extent that we actually went to another restaurant to eat an actual dinner. Take the “hotdog” as an example. It was $17 and they served us with the two ends of a hotdog. Imagine an actual hotdog where you cut a quarter from either side and serve it and god knows what they do to the middle half. I hope they eat it at least themselves and don’t throw it away. The rest of the dishes were pretty much the same. And the place is just a living room with the lights turned off to create an “atmosphere”. Also, while I am not too picky in general when it comes to wine tastes and types, but if you work at a place that is considered a wine bar, you should have some minimal knowledge of wine and don’t give me a “all we have is what is on the menu”.
All in all, don’t go there if you’re hungry. Also, the next day there was an additional charge of $100 from them on my credit card, which I had to report as fraud and have to wait for a replacement card to arrive.
