We went to Paramo the 26 Friday around 3:30 – 4:00pm, just few people in the local, we got sat and check the menu.

We start with drinks with two Tamarindo juices and one maracuya/parchita juice.

Finally ordered coconut shrimp, paramo burger and steak pepito; coconut shrimp was lack of flavor to be honest, besides that the texture was good. Paramo burger was an absolute banger really good recommendation, talking about the steak pepito i tried better pepitos for the same price lack of items and house sauces

I had the pleasure of dining at Paramo and my experience was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was very relaxing, with muted colors and Latin music providing a wonderfully inviting atmosphere.

The food at Paramo was outstanding – an amazing array of flavors and textures. Their fried plantains were particularly delicious, and the empanadas and arepas were simply out of this world. The ingredients used were all incredibly fresh, and the seasonings and spices used added an extra zing to each dish.

All in all, Paramo is by far the best Venezuelan food I have had the pleasure of tasting. The quality of the food and the service were both excellent, and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner or a casual night out with friends. I highly recommend Paramo to anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary experience.

Beautiful inside restaurant, great food taste… all of what we have ordered was very good and its the only real Full Venezuela restaurant in Sarasota… its a little bit expensive but quality is worth it… service is great, Natalia did a great job . We definitely will come back… try it if you like or want to taste great Venezuelan dishes. Only drawback is the restaurant is too expensive for the area located, hope can last for long time.

This restaurant is nice! They serve Venezuelan typical food, and the coffee is delicious. My family and I went for brunch and tried the arepas. Our favorite was the chicharron arepa—it tasted great! We really appreciated the fresh water made with natural fruit. I tried guava without sugar, as I prefer natural flavors, and I loved it! It was like a smoothie.

The place is cozy, and the service is good. There was only one server when we visited, so the service felt a bit pressured, but nothing that the server couldn’t handle. They forgot one of our drinks but gave it to me as a courtesy, which was very nice of them.

Unfortunately, the only downside was seeing a huge bug (roach). I don’t feel comfortable around those insects, but my dad killed it. Thankfully, we saw it after we finished eating. I understand it’s challenging to control bugs in restaurants because of the food, but without that detail, my review would be perfect.

Other than that, I would come again and try different dishes.

Really good place. They also have a live band. Platter was amazing – pork loin, sausage, calamari, shrimp, and not sure what those sticks were. Empanada tasted a bit weird to me, probably due to the plantain. Cappuccino and mocha were nice as well.

Very tasty food! I love the atmosphere and the employees are very nice! Our waiter checked on us a few times and wasn’t over bearing. It was nice for a change to not be interrupted too many times. I will be coming back and bringing my daughter this time

This is the Venezuelan family restaurant and café Sarasota needed. I’m deeply in love with how beautiful this place is, with the owners, the quality of the food and how greatly welcome everybody is. Owners dedicated year and a half to bring wooden decorations and handmade items from the mountains of my country. Which already says a very lot about their company.

We waited so long for them to finally open. And I’ve come here everyday since they opened, and it’s just amazing every single time.

Servers are owner’s children. They’re amazingly smart and dedicated to their job; helping their parents. Of course they were shy at the beginning, but after a few times going I can tell how great they’ve improved. They truly care about you liking their food. And that just melts my heart. Take all my money!

Food is authentic. Made by Venezuelans, salty cheese, large portions, juicy and healthy.

I’m happy to say drinks are also authentic. They can make them smoothies or frappé. And they currently have Latin coffees, which means they’re strong and flavorful.

I’m very proud and I strongly support Paramo and family. This is the only Venezuelan spot I can finally overshare about and show my people to give them a true taste of my country without worrying about poor customer service or low quality food.

I highly suggest everyone to go in person and try such a delicious meal in a beautiful restaurant with so many artworks from the Venezuelan culture.

On Sunday mornings my husband and I love to find new places to have brunch and this cute place was the lucky winner. Paramo serves Venezuelan food. The place has only been opened a month. Very clean, attentive & friendly staff and delicious food. They also offer live music on Friday & Saturdays from 7pm-10pm. Support your local business. Go give them a try

EMPANADAS ARE A MUST! The garlic green sauce is so creamy and delicious! We went overboard on our first of many to come visits to Paramo. We got the Yuca fries, which were so good and then shared a chicken empanada. Our entrees were the steak and. Rice meal, which we took home becuase the sandwich my wife got the steak pepito was plenty for us to share. The sweetest of the dough on the empanadas was so great. Cannot wait until next time!

I found today a real gem . Paramo Venezulean Restaurant is finally a real authentic eatery with classic elegance. Beautiful wood furnitures, special memorabilias all around. Absolutely charming atmosphere with latin music background. Food was also amazing. They didnt go crazy ( means utterly high) with prices.
The whole experience was super notch. I will come back with my family and friends.
