Absolutely blown away by this place. Parallel in Ashburn delivers on every level: incredible food, outstanding service, and one of the best patios in the area.
First off, the Heatwave Chicken Sandwich is an absolute knockout. Perfectly crispy chicken with the right amount of heat—bold flavor without overpowering the rest of the ingredients. Every bite was packed with flavor.
The Mushroom Flatbread was just as impressive. Rich, savory mushrooms with perfectly baked flatbread and balanced toppings. It’s one of those dishes where you immediately know the kitchen really knows what it’s doing.
What truly elevates the experience is the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the entire visit feel welcoming and relaxed.
And the patio… next level. The outdoor space has an amazing vibe—spacious, stylish, and perfect for enjoying great food with friends or family.

The service was great! The food tasted good, the gluten free flatbread was one of the best crusts I’ve eaten in years and the pork tacos and street corn were delicious. However, we both experienced the effects of being “glutened”. This is likely due to cross contamination, so if you are celiac or incredibly sensitive be warned that it is highly probable to be cross contaminated here.

We used to love coming here but the service has gone downhill. We went on a Monday night – so not too busy but we had to constantly flag down our server and even had to go inside to find her. The manager didn’t interact with any table even though she looked right at empty glasses and plates. I could overhear other tables saying similar things as we were. The new party bar atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the decor.

9pm – 3/20. Supposed to be open until 10 PM, completely closed. Pitch black, not an employee in sight. The inconsistencies and constantly closing early at both bars, makes it nearly impossible to plan a visit here. This place used to be amazing, but you never know if they will be open when you want to visit.
