i ordered 2 pancit canton for my brothers birthday. since Paraiso is our go-to for pinoy foods around the area, didnt hesitate and called. back home, i, we were surprised what we saw. instant pancit canton? this is not what we expected. we’ve been loyal customers of Paraiso foods, they’ve been part some of our family get togethers. what was more surprising is, the canton really tastes like “instant” (if youre a pinoy, you know what im talking about) with added seasonings and ingredients. even if our not pinoy family member thought it looks and taste like instant. lets give them the benefit of the doubt. but in my life existence, ive never seen a noodle like this in any filipino, asian stores or countries. did they run out of noodles or something? why serve your co-pinoys this kind of food? im just one of your thousand customers that maybe will not affect anything but this is unacceptable. this needs to be shared. this is not worth my $40 hard earned money.

This place is LIKE THAT ok. Half restaurant half grocery store. I grew up with Filipino neighbors and played with their sons so I ate a lot of Filipino food. A lot. This place makes me feel like a kid again. The beef and chicken lumpia are my favs. Sometimes I just go to get that. Actually majority of the time I go just to get an order of each and they usually don’t make it home. The chicken adobo is different than what I’m use to but it’s still delicious and i get it quite often. The beef kare kare is my favorite dish that’s not lumpia. They give samples so ask for samples to help you decide what you want! The place is always busy. A lot of Military show up around lunch time. Be prepared to wait in line. There are usually no tables when you walk in but by the time you make it through the line a table will open up. Place is clean and everyone so far has been very friendly. The grocery part next door has a lot of things you can’t get at a regular grocery store. Again this place takes me back to my childhood! If you aren’t busy and want a good meal I say give this place a go!

I think the guy that helped me today was the owner. He was very kind and helpful. It was my first time trying actual Filipino food and he gave me some samples I could try before I made a choice. Everything was delicious!! Especially Lechon Kawali and beef stew

Delicious Filipino food cafeteria style. You get a choice of one or two meat platter. The guy who works there let’s you try things if you are new to Filipino food. They had a sour soup which was so good and pan it and lumpia, which is made to order. I was missing some spicy kick but the food was good.

The man that helped me was very helpful and friendly. He let me sample things and described the flavors of the dishes very well. The food has awesome flavors and big portions and good prices too. It’s very unassuming from the outside. But it’s great food!

Me and my family were here yesterday around 1pm and they were pretty busy. We ordered palabok, 2 meat (pork adobo and pork sisig), beef and chicken lumpia, bangus sisig, bistek, 2 sago’t gulaman and a halo-halo.

Delicious food! Customer service could improve. The eating area is small. Pricey for big families. But worth it.

My first time going to PARAISO RESTAURANT and so far it ranks on my top 3 best Filipino Restaurant in Washington. Excellent customers service and food are delicious. We order pork barbecue, beef karekare and crispy pata my husband love it. The owners are really friendly and very respectful towards their customers also. Definitely going to come back to this place.

Food is just meh. Perhaps passable if you have no idea what Filipino food is. Maybe it’s a different type of cooking. I’m from Southern Phils and we cook our food more flavorful and full-bodied. Not bland and swimming in water. Their grocery store most of the time is unmanned and you’re left waiting for someone to ring you up.
