Fresh and delicious food served with the hugest of smiles.!i asked the owner Johan if I could try a little of everything and I got an overflowing container filled with stewed chicken, stewed, pork, pepper steak, salami, and yellow rice. Everything was juicy and flavorful. All for $20 and including a drink.

O….M…Mother freaking…G!! I have no words…NONE!! Okay…maybe a few…I googled a Dominican place close to my job and this one popped up. 11 minutes away…it had great reviews…so I said what the heck…I’m in the mood for some Dominican food, let’s give it a shot.
I walked in, the music had me involuntarily dancing! I came later in the day so he didn’t have much left but he immediately talked me through what he did have and offered to fry me some tilapia (I took him up on that even though I don’t really like tilapia). That FISH was SOOOO delicious!!! I LOVE TILAPIA NOW…well…ONLY from this place. Those FLAVORS!! Is this what happiness tastes like?!?!?
He even hooked me up with some yuca and plantain. I ordered the spaghetti as well because it looked delicious and OH MY GOODNESS!! Best spaghetti I have EVER had from any Dominican place!!
On top of ALL of that…VERY reasonable pricing!!
Go…just go….I couldn’t recommend this place more…(Just make sure you leave enough food for me)

There are a few two tops and a four top. The food was PERFECT! We travel to the D.R. quite regularly, and the flavors, food temp and presentation were spot on to anything we’d buy down there. The owner is a kind and generous man, and you can tell he cooks for the enjoyment it brings others. Grab some this weekend and you will not be sorry! Delicious!

This is a hidden gem in our town. Food is fantastic, Johan is super friendly and the portions are generous. Johan’s empanadas are very tasty; a few years back he made 3 full trays of them for a party I was having.

I was craving my mom’s Dominican food and this hit the spot. The rice, chicken, steaks and Yuca were so delicious and fresh tasting. My very picky eating kids also loved it. We can’t wait to come back later this week.

The food here is so good, it actually touched my spirit lol. The amount of food you get is great and the prices are fair as well! Great neighborhood spot to pick up lunch. There are a few main option choices that get rotated, but usually there’s a beef, pork, or chicken dish to go with some yummy rice. I really like the yucca here too!
