Excellent music selection and fun atmosphere. The food was well seasoned, fresh, and delicious, I only wish the kale salad wash shredded to make it easier to eat!

The service was so lovely, they even brought a complimentary scoop of ice cream with a candle for my partners birthday without me asking.

If you are looking for a cool ~sophisticated~ but not at all stuffy dining experience, you won’t be disappointed.

This restaurant has modern-day-speak-easy vibes. The decor is restrained letting, the music be the focus. There was a person spinning records; hypnotic mix. Seating is comfortable.

The staff were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. They know and love the food and drinks, which is helpful.

Now to the food. It is elevated. The Head Chef clearly has mastered his craft, and knows how to make the flavors sing fabulous songs. I had the monk fish, which romanced me. The sauce was perfection, I requested a spoon so I could enjoy all of it. My husband had the venison. It was tender and delicious. He stopped and paused after each bite. We capped it off with a blueberry-dessert. I absolutely loved it. We left delightfully surprised by this cooking.

Drinks were good. I got Purple Rain and my husband had Bear Beer.

The prices are reasonable for the level of cooking. This is now on my top restaurant list, next to Hen of the Woods.

Great date night for us.

Very chill vibe with dim lighting. Excellent music and record collection to set the tone for the meal. Expect small plates packed with flavor. We had the seasonal pickles, sourdough foccacia (excellent bread but too much whipped butter on the side, just needed two more slices of bread to make a dent), fried squash blossoms (fav dish for the evening), lobster fagatonni (the sauce was outstanding and the lobster pasta flavorful) barely cooked lamb (a tasty tartare like dish) and grilled Romano bean salad.

Table seating is nice for dining and room seating for hanging out with a cocktail. Service is nice and attentive. Priced for an experience and atmosphere. Enjoyed my birthday here.

If you haven’t been here yet, this is your sign to go. Every single dish we ordered was spectacular. The presentation was tasteful and elegant. Seasonal food made it to our table, cooked to absolute perfection. The fried squash flower dish was our favourite but we also had the lobster ravioli (fantastic), the thinly rolled zucchini in a celery sauce (exceptional), fresh focaccia bread and soft butter (yum!), the melt-in-your-mouth tomatillos and chicken heart skewers (delightful). The drinks didn’t disappoint either.

The ambience is incredible – we felt transported. It’s possible that we walked out in a totally different city altogether… we’re still not quite sure.

Definitely on the pricier side but OH SO WORTH IT. Find something to celebrate – and go.

A visit to Paradiso hits uniquely every time. Often a dinner is strikingly different than the last, but the general curiosity in their dishes and the great, rotating music is what I have come to expect. You just kind of feel cool here. I would love to be able to dance here, and dinner mates have agreed.

The food was devastating; from the complex layers of flavors, to the presentation and quality. The staff were attentive, polite, and high touch. Beyond impressed and already looking forward to my next visit here! Well done!

Everything was exceptional & perfectly balanced
We liked the simplified clean menu & in the reasonable priced wine list
We started with deviled eggs & grenki, then had marinated oysters, cabbage dumplings, coal fired oyster mushrooms, chicken heart ragu and a sourdough pull apart roll before we completed the experience with some delicious ice scoops
The seasoning, presentation & taste were out of this world
We loved to get new plates & silverware for every course, which for a small plate restaurant is very important
The staff was very attentive, friendly & knowledgeable, not at least pushy
We felt welcomed the moment we walked through the Speak Easy like entrance door
The music was loud but not at all bothersome & actually pleasant to listen to
We are definitely coming back, one of the best dinners we had in a while

Came for TTPD (Taylor Swift’s new album) and thoroughly enjoyed the environment, drinks, and specifically the pull apart bread rolls with butter – hot bread, and butter that was perfectly spreadable. I’m obsessed.
I went with a group of 5, we all showed up separately and we all had a hard time finding the entrance. The door is on the porch of Dedalus, and feels like a speakeasy. While the food is expensive, the drinks are roughly the same price as other cocktails in Burlington, and the food seems to be a high quality (their chef was nominated for a James Beard) – we went for drinks primarily, and got three orders of the bread rolls w/ butter.
