Dried out old chicken probably sitting for a day. So hard to chew literally like jerky. What is the point of even serving chicken this bad? Anyone who tries to eat it will be very disappointed and never come back. Has that waxy look that chicken only gets from sitting long periods of time. Terrible. Took a few bites and threw the rest away.

We discovered this place on Doordash and were blown away, ended up ordering it twice in one week. Then we decided to go in and realized it’s in a hole-in-the-wall liquor store. Outstanding.
This chicken is *good*, people. So good. Slap-your-mother good. The biscuits? Decadent. The bird? Country-fried and succulent. Mash potatoes and Mac and cheese are pretty good too but it’s the chicharron-like skin on those chicken thighs that live rent-free in my mind.
I’m changed. Go here immediately. Or don’t. I don’t want a line.

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall places where you will be so surprised and happy that you discovered it. Luis is the guy that’s cooking up all the good stuff. That fried Chicken is amazing, and the tacos that he makes are so good. I mean the tortilla. The meat everything in between is just cooked with so much care. You can definitely taste the difference! If you’re ever in the area, please do yourself a favor. Stop by, get yourself some fried chicken and some tacos!

Love this spot. My local “corner store”. Customer service is great. Food is amazing and they have a pretty good variety of hot food. And they prices on the burritos and tacos is pretty decent.
