We got a recommendation to stop at pappy’s from a guide at the Arch and I’m so happy we did! The portions were huge and the burnt ends were delicious! I got the fire and ice pickles which as a pickle lover were so good!! The burnt ends were so delicious and juicy, no sauce needed! The baked beans were just okay, but the apple sauce and chips were great! If you’re near a pappys and looking for bbq this place is a must!

Ribs!! Wow!! So flavorful and juicy! Brisket is so tender and tasty too. My personal favorite side was green beans. They went great together. Great atmosphere. I can’t wait to try their burnt ends next time. They were always sold out whenever I visited. Would highly recommend this place!!

Pappy’s is the best. That ribs and burnt ends are my absolute favorite. My only complaint about this location is the fire and ice pickles didn’t seem the same as their other restaurants. Maybe just a bad batch.

Hadn’t been to Pappy’s in about 16 years, just moved back to Missouri, and came to this location last week to see if it was still as good as I remembered, and it WAS! My pulled pork sandwich and my wife’s brisket sandwich were incredible. We both agree it was one of the best potato salads we’ve ever had. Baked beans were great as well.

Lots of different sauces on the table for the whole family’s tastes.

Definitely worth the price!!

Incredible as always. Some of the best ribs you can find in St. Louis. They fall right off the bone. The brisket was delicious as well. Love all the sides.

*I recommend trying to go during lunch time. I went on three different occasions two hours before closing time and ribs were already sold out.*

This tucked away BBQ is hiding in plain sight right off Mid Rivers Mall Drive on the North side of I70. The food is excellent and you will not be disappointed. If you’re a corn bread person you will be amazed at the recipe. The turkey has an awesome flavor with a little zing to it. The ribs were cooked to perfection with a great taste. Give them a try!

By far, the best barbecue restaurant I’ve had so far. Went there after reading about it being rated in the top ten best barbecue in the country, and it did not disappoint. The food tastes and looks fresh, cooked to perfection, and flavors are spot on. We ordered the “Feed the Team,” and we chose beef as the meat, green beans, applesauce, and beans. All were soooo good!!! Even the applesauce impressed me! The sweet tea, by far the best! Wonderful staff as well! I can’t wait to go back and try other options!

8/10/25- Wentzville there a second time and had pulled pork sandwich with beans and corn bread. Both were delicious and worth a try!

Great bbq place! Food and service were both amazing. Definitely try the ribs, and burnt ends. The turkey and green beans were both surprise favorites but everything we ordered was great. The staff was attentive and checked on us multiple times and cleared the table. Overall great bbq spot and will definitely eat here again.

The pulled pork and pulled chicken were moist and full of flavor. The cornbread was perfection. The vinegar slaw, baked beans, and potato salad were on point. Service was friendly and quick.

This is the second place I’ve been to that was on Man vs food. A $72.00 dish is definitely a attempt to capitalize off that notoriety. when 4bdished were served stone cold. They had dishes that were hand written on the wall that were not even included in the menu. They have $17.00 to 72.00 meals with a warning sign saying we sale out of food. The best thing we tasted and the only thing served hot were the baked beans.
