Pappy’s Homestyle Cooking in Eldorado Springs Missouri. Very nice Restaurant. Clean, Spacious,an Excellent Staff. Trish our Waitress was so kind ,and Refilled or Drinks often. She was very detailed in any questions we had about menu items. Our Appetizer was very Good, Wisconsin Fried Cheese and a Great from Scratch Marinara. My wife, Janie, enjoyed a generous Open Faced Roast Beef Sandwich .The Kids a Enjoyed Made Fresh Burgers. Last, but Not at all Least. I Loved my Handbread Tenderloin Sandwich and Steak Fries 3 of us had Dessert Cherry Cheesecake Vanilla Cheesecake and Carrot cake. Becky and Her staff have a Gem, in this little corner of Missouri. definitely a cannot miss stop, we will be back. Thank You Folks Keep up the good work.

Out of several items. 45min AFTER ordering, we were informed they were out of waffle fries. 3 out of 5 of our meals had already been served to the table (at different times). After our entrees were delivered, we were told to make our own salads (this is an hour in) and 1 side dish never did come. All of our drinks were empty and we had to ask for refills from a server that wasn’t our own. 1 refill never came.

I ordered the roast beef open faced sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy to go. Everything was hot. Service was ok. Mashed potatoes were from a box, they weren’t good either. I would have expected them to be home style which would have been real potatoes. The beef was tough. Gravy was salty. I ordered a side of green beans and they had no seasoning at all. Will not return.

I’d give them negative stars if I could. Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Only 2 other tables sat when we got there. Took 40 minutes to get our food. Half of it was cold. Sausage was raw. And then they double charged us.

Had a pecan salad sandwich on a croissant. Had to look hard to find tha pecan salad. Very skimpy on portion. Barely tasted the salad filling. Not worth the price. Will not be back.
