As I always say, service is what keeps bringing people back.
This fine steak specialty establishment is the creme de la creme. Bookings are months in advance and they remember you; your background, where you last sat, the clothes you wear… even after one previous visit.
I was in Dallas for the big fight with Tyson and Paul last year, and as a before treat went out here.
The steak is immaculate. Cuts of prime beef lining the steak glass.
It’s a large restaurant, but exquisite dining.
Dim lights, maitre d, and soft music.
I began with a lobster bisque then moved onto 48 hour slow garlic braised mushrooms in a champagne sauce.
Then… the steak.
Mouthwateringly juicy. Sides and sides upon sides. I could barely finish anything!
Nothing pretentious about this beautiful work of art.
Following?
Dessert… a homemade marshmallow cheesecake. I mean, they made the marshmallows themselves. Our Maitre De remembered me from my last visit. Remembered my guest, my reason for being in town and what I had eaten as well as my preferred seat and listed my favorites. He also knew my allergies by heart. He asked if I would like my go to, champagne, (not Prosecco as is often found in lower level “high end” dining). I follow r with their on tap beer, then opted for a beautiful wine.
Will I go back? Yes. I’ve been 6 times.
Does this place knock the other competitors out of the park?
Absolutely. No comparison.
Thank you! Again and again for your incredible service, top notch dining and beautiful atmosphere.
This is how a restaurant should be run.

Final assessment for the Pappas Bros. steakhouse: 11/10 from our side. We will be back
I am so deeply impressed by this restaurant.
The service is top notch – special thanks to our waiter Nick show as wonderful.
The food is excellent – next level, the quality, the portion size and the flavours were fantastic.
The atmosphere is very elegant
I definitely will be back.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
For starters, we shared the crab cakes, which were cooked to perfection—sweet, tender, and utterly delicious. For our main courses, I ordered the the ribeye, cooked medium-rare, and it was a 10/10. The steak was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seared. We paired our meals with the lobster Mac and cheese and asparagus.
We left feeling completely satisfied and look forward to returning.
We visited Dallas for three days and had dinner their twice.
We went on a Friday night at 8:00 pm and the place was about 3/4 full. Self parking is easy here. The place is fairly swanky, reminding me of the mob or a place you would see in Goodfellas. The space is bigger than expected with multiple rooms. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation but could have done a tad bit more to make it feel special. Was sat after waiting about 5 minutes and the bread was on the table before we even settled in. My kind of place and the bread was soft, crusty, and soooo good. Our waitress was fantastic and chatted with us for awhile. We ordered the 12 oz filet (medium), au gratin potatoes, and green beans. The food came out in about 25 minutes and when I tell you this is what a steak should be, I mean it. It was cooked perfectly, was tender, but could have maybe used a pinch more seasoning. Now, when I tell you those potatoes made my toes curl, I mean it. They are truly decadent and just so cheesy, tangy, and blissful. I could bathe in them and we devoured them the next day too. You know something is good when you think about it for a long while after. The green beans were crisp and yum but fairly standard. Overall, a classic yet very good steak dinner. For dessert, after being presented with a dessert cart that I almost tackled, we ordered the marshmallow graham chocolate mousse dessert and, my loves, we have our first tears. I cried at how good it was while embarrassing my partner. I can’t help it. My tastebuds are connected to my tear ducts. It was gooey and fluffy, perfectly sweet and chocolately, and one of the best I’ve had. It helps that I’m a HUGE fan of marshmallow. The meal was $160 and we left a $60 tip for a total of $220.
Food: 8.5/10
Ambience: 7.5/10
Service: 9/10
Next up is Nick and Sam’s for those who care, but, again, we are having so much with this. Much love. ❤️
