First off, I live in Humble but choose to drive to this location at 1960 and 45. The service was exceptional as well the management staff is awesome. If you’ve ever heard the analogy lead by example, this restaurant is a prime example of it. The manager ” Johnny” that I’ve had the pleasure to meet now a couple of times is a great person as well can tell his team enjoys working for him. I’m throughly impressed with the way the team works together and can tell they’re having a good time while doing it. They were polite and all were really hard workers. They’ll have my business for a very very long time to come. Thanks guys for being such a great place to eat at!!!!

This place really deserves 5 stars and the only reason I didn’t rate it that is because of how much they have gone up on their food. I know, it’s happening everywhere but I’m still not happy about it. Ok so let’s get into the food. The ribs are always on point here. So tender and well seasoned. The brisket is also always superb. The rice was delicious. The potato salad is always good also. I was able to eat off that plate three times. Worth the money but still a sticker shock on pricing.

This what I got for an 18.00 baked potato with brisket. It was slapped together, they were out of bacon bits, cheese is either old or this was a pre-made potato. Got sausage with one slice of bread. Not a great experience. They were more interested in talking with each other than taking care of customer. I used to get their baked potatoes back in the day and they were way bigger than this. Definitely will not be going back. Oh and the brisket was bland.

Having lived in Marshall TX since 2019, I missed how customer service actually works when it is held as a standard for business, lol. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to get good quality food from an establishment from a server who made me feel seen even as there were so many customers in the place. I was not made to feel rushed to place my to go order. All the servers were friendly. The chopped beef sandwich made me want to drive all the way back and get another for the road (I was traveling back to Marshall at the time). The brisket was tender and juicy. The bread was toasted to perfection. The pecan pie was like a taste of heaven. The Mac and cheese I ordered for my niece was cheesy indeed. The highlight was the Watermelon water. I missed it sooooooo much, lol. I give the whole meal a 10 out of 10.

This is what I got for $20. I could buy a whole turkey for that price. These portions are ridiculous when compared with what you are charged. Very disappointed. Gave 2 stars because the flavor is good.

Oh my lord, that was amazing. In town for a business conference and we loaded up for some Texas BBQ. The brisket was amazing, the ribs next best, sausage and the pork was decent. The hot BBQ sauce was the best of the 3 they had. Very good, reasonable prices, quick service.

Hit the drive-through on the way to work. Ordered the brisket, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito. Almost $5, but it had plenty of weight to it.

I am in love with Pappas BBQ – the brisket is very moist and flavorful, but can we talk about the potato salad and coleslaw……so freakin’ amazing. Dining in is buffet style – you pick up a tray, tell the lovely people behind the counter what you want and voilà! Make your way to a table. I dare not try the dessert cause it looks too sinful. I’m a fan!
