The food and customer service here is always on point when I’m in need of some good ol’ BBQ. The prices are very convenient for the quality and quantity of the food that’s served. The drive-thru is quick, efficient and highly convenient w/ pretty good staff that I’ve ever come encounter with. I always utilize the drive-thru and have never visited inside the restaurant so I can’t review the atmosphere or overall customer service within the establishment. However, my experience today was a -0. Ms. Nicolasa became upset when I switched my order from a combo to a trio plate (no difference whatsoever other than adding two ribs) and attitude was just nasty throughout the entire transaction, w/ me being polite the entire time. What got me was when I arrived home and checked my plate. For one, everything was not hot as it should have been for my short drive but the ribs and she made sure I got exactly 3 slices of sausage and literally a spoon full of pull pork… I order the same exact thing each and everytime from different locations, eating off each plate ×3, and have never had an issue on portion size or services, but this was funny upon discovery… felt like I ordered a kids meal… she was so mean and gave off evil vibes, again for no reason @ all, that I didn’t even care to eat the food when I saw it. Customer service is just that! And it doesn’t suit fit for miserable people… I dislike writing negative reviews but her demeanor @ that window needs to be brought to light if it hasn’t already. Despite my experience today, all previous visits before has been smooth and very well worth visiting.

I almost never leave negative reviews, but my experience at this location really left me disappointed. I came at my grandmas request to pick up two brisket potatoes to-go, only to get home and find that both potatoes were completely missing the brisket; this could be because she asked for all of the toppings on the side so we got all of the potato fillings on the side but absolutely no brisket. Yes my grandma chewed me out for not double checking the order when I got it, so we both are responsible but what really took me over the edge is what happened while I was waiting for the order.
While I was still at the restaurant, I also asked the cashier a very specific question before ordering a brisket patty melt: “Is the patty made with brisket?” She told me “Yes”. I understand new employees may still be learning the menu, but the manager was standing right behind her listening intently, so I assumed the information was correct.
After driving back to the store twice and finally sitting down to eat, I discovered the patty melt was just a regular ground beef patty with brisket pieces placed on top — not what I was hoping for at all.
This whole situation ended up being frustrating, especially after being so clear about what I needed. I hope the team tightens up communication and accuracy, because this was a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth for a simple to-go order.

The beef ribs are scrumptious, the mac n cheese is heavenly and i loved the beans too! Man, the baked potatoes were loaded up and bigger than your head! Worth the stop in Houston, even during heavy traffic! I’ll be thinking about the bbq here for years, thanks for the delicious memories

I normally don’t highlight chain restaurants, but I did a video on BBQ and I had to highlight Pappas Bar-B-Q. The consistency of their Smoked Chicken and smoked Turkey is the reason I like them. I have been to three different locations and the quality has been the same. While I am a fan of the way they smoke their meats, I am not the biggest fan of their sides. The one exception is the mac and cheese that is a favorite of my son

Ok these are not the best pictures however the food was amazing as always. And I always forget to take pictures. The cake was super amazing, the extra pecans compliments of me. Also the salads are indescribable but good lol. I also added bacon bits to the salad. The salad and Po boy 2 meat brisket sausage, are my favorite. I must remember to get a photo the next time.
