Reviews
I gave the service 3 stars because the wait for our food was longer than expected. But to be fair, we were a big group on a Sunday, and it looked like they might have been short on staff.
The food itself was excellent — great quality and beautifully presented. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!
I still recommend setting up a reservation even when we came around 3pm and, it was maybe at half capacity. I really enjoyed the casualness of some of the guests, and you can tell a lot of locals dine here despite being more on the pricey side. The dress code isn’t necessarily strict, but just show up looking decent and you won’t have an issue.
The drinks were pretty good, unique, and there was a lot to choose from. I was a fan of their mojitos and martinis, but it didn’t stand out compared to the rest of the experience. This only motivates me to come back to find something off the menu that I will enjoy more, so not a negative.
A huge reason why I’m writing this review is because I feel like you get a lot with their lunch entrees. My chicken parm came with spaghetti, salad and dessert for less than 30 bucks. We also ordered the arancini and honestly thank you for making them that well. I haven’t had good arancini yet and not for a lack of trying. The portion on the meal itself was huge and while I wasn’t a fan of their Caesar salad, there is plenty of other ones to choose from. The tiramisu really completed the meal as well. Not to mention the bread they gave us with their tomato pie. Di Paolo’s, I was unaware of your game.
The service was awesome and I forget our waitresses name but, she was great and hope to have her again. All in all we paid just over 100 dollars for three drinks, an appetizer and two lunch entrees. Definitely not the cheapest but if you’re looking for a great spot for dates, family diners, etc. look no further.
I have seen a lot of buzz about this place on social media and FB. They have great specials. People said their portions are awesome and food is terrific.
They were not lying!
Took about 55 min to get there. Made a reservation on line before just in case.
We were greeted with a smile and immediately were seated. We had a long drive so we knew what we wanted to order.
We got from the $29.99 special – Chicken Cutlet Parmesan and Gnocchi specials. We got our tomato pie and bread with a wedge salad (bacon/blue cheese) and Italian wedding soup.
Everything was hot and flavorful. Didn’t need to add salt! (some places hold off on the salt now a days). The Chicken Parm finally someone didn’t pound the crap out of it to paper thin! It was a perfect thickness, juicy and tender! Best Chicken Parm I have had in years! (except for my own lol!)
The “gravy” as I call it, true Italian. The Gnocchi came with meatballs, that made me feel like I was at my grandma’s in Brooklyn!
As time passed and we were eating this delicious meal, the wait staff was extremely attentive and happy! This is a family run business and you can tell.
We had the absolute pleasure to meet some of the relatives and family who work there and have other businesses in the neighborhood. I swear we got adopted by them that evening haha!
They treated us like Family! We were talking about our kids and exchanged photos (via cell lol)- was a great time!
The deserts were so good! The Tiramisu was made in house and was delicious. The Rum cake, well you can get drunk from it haha!
We also had a couple of their drink specials, also made to perfection.
We were there legit – 2-3 hours. When is the last time you spent that much time enjoying company and food at a restaurant? I can’t remember.
We left with a bag full of leftovers, a full belly and new friends!
It’s a hike to get there, but trust me. It’s worth the wait!
We will be back to try their buffet! I wish I could give 6 stars!
I was taken back by the many options and variety. The food was tasty and hot. I literally tried a lil bit of everything.
The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. Nice variety of patroons. With good prices.
I would 1000000% recommend this place. I was stuffed and satisfied in a good way.
