It was good but I just don’t like restaurants that are so packed. Wait was 45 minutes but there was seating outside and it was just enough time to catch up before dinner. It was more of a 30 minute wait on a Thursday night.
Food was good but red beans and rice were not what I expected it was like rice and spicy beans with sausage. The orders are HUGE. Enough to split with your partner or have leftovers. The naked rainbow trout was good. So was the creme bruleè. Salad was delicious.

We had not been to pdx in a few years and the food was great then. I’ll tell you. This visit the food was beyond on point. Extremely pleasant atmosphere and a lovely pre vday experience. Banana foster cheesecake was DYNAMITE!

I was very excited that there was a Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen on my route back to Houston from the Texas Renaissance Festival, as my favorite local locations had been closed. Shout out to Emoni R. for the excellent service and to the friendly hostesses yesterday evening. The friendly greeting and conversation at the hostess stand and the care with taking my order was much appreciated after a long weekend performing and camping out of town. The food was excellent – extremely fresh and delicious. I ordered the chef selection of fresh oysters and crispy salmon with crab and scallops. My one critique is that I expected the dish to have more crab than was included because the proportion served seemed small. I look forward to going back to this location and trying the fresh lobster!!

This restaurant was excellent! A bit pricy for us seniors, but it was a special treat. The waiter Evan was perfect & the bartender (sorry forgot name) he was such a dedicated guy. Made his drinks to perfection & delivered them to people that didn’t even look at or thank him. Shame. Anyway, we enjoyed everything except the fries were way too salty. will go back.

It had been years since I’d visited, and I’m so glad I came back! Parking was easy, and we were greeted by a friendly hostess right away. Our server, Franklin, was outstanding—attentive, personable, and ready with great recommendations. The food was even better than I remembered! The Crispy Salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked to exactly as ordered, and the Redfish Pontchartrain was absolutely amazing. If you’re craving fresh, flavorful seafood with exceptional service, this is the spot!

Can’t speak for anyone else, but this place always hits! The food is fresh, hot and tasty. Their house salad is delish. My last dish was some type of Pasta, that came with octopus. I asked them to lose the octopus, and substitute with extra shrimp or crab meat. I also asked for additional Alfredo sauce, in case I couldn’t finish and needed to reheat it. Well as expected, I did not finish my food. The next day, I was hungry and wanted something tasty, and remembered my leftovers. I love seafood, so I thawed shrimp and cooked it to add to my dish! I used the additional Alfredo sauce and voila!!! The dish was excellent!!! A meal that fed me twice, now thats what I’m talking about!

My husband and I visited Papas on Valentine’s Day, fully expecting it to be an extremely busy evening. Even with the large crowd, KeKe, Aleah, and Asla truly made our experience exceptional. Their promptness, attention to detail, and genuine kindness stood out from the moment we arrived.
The bar area was packed, yet we never felt overlooked. They consistently checked on us throughout our visit, ensured we had everything we needed, and maintained such positive attitudes despite the rush. That level of service makes a lasting impression.
