The small shrimp plate was delicious and more than enough for 1 person. The server was nice and courteous. They apparently didn’t have any water, but still had ice, were serving drinks at the bar, and for some reason were open and serving food. No clue how they could wash dishes or be in business without water. I drank a sweet tea at a restaurant that had no water.

The service here is very good. Wait staff is attentive and friendly even if some of their conversations that should not be on the floor were a little too loud for the environment. But they never lost sight of what’s important, the customers.

For the food… the Baked Crab Mac and Cheese. Very good. Rich, creamy cheese sauce with real Crab and nicely roasted bread crumbs. Just a very good appetizer, could even be a meal if you weren’t super hungry.

However, the Fried Catfish PoBoy, the entree, the star… underwhelming. The bread was probably the best piece on the plate: pillow soft with a nice crust. Fish wasn’t seasoned, breading had about a much taste as Wonderbread, and I’m still confused about what makes the Coleslaw “Cajun.” It had a slight red color to it which may have been a little Louisiana style hot sauce or maybe some Tony C’s? The fries, opposite of the fish, way over seasoned. Like man, leave some salt for the rest of the world. The pickle spear: soft. No snap. Restock your pickles sooner or get a new distributor because they’re giving you old pickles. The best part of the plate? Everything was cooked perfectly. The fries have a soft interior with a crisp exterior. The fish is perfectly fried and doesn’t lack on moisture.

I have another trip going through DFW, and if I have time I may stop here again if not just for the Mac and Cheese, though maybe I’ll try the etouffee next time.

Po Boy! It was joy. The gumbo was good. I’ve lived lots of places from Evangeline Parish to Bayou Lafourche, and this gumbo would fit somewhere around there. It’s thinner and lighter than I prefer but was good. The Po Boy. It was not traditional with the French bread but rather a freshly made in-house hoagie. It worked very well. The shrimp was fresh and crispy with that perfect Creole seasoning. I looked back into their kitchen and they had all of the right ingredients sources from Louisiana. Paired with a tangy coleslaw and very good remoulade, it was a revelation and a respectable variation on the traditional po boy. Enjoying it from beginning to end, memories of Louisiana flooded back. Very memorable po boy. The Po Boy of joy. Service and ambiance were great. Food came out fresh and prompt. Highly recommended.

The food was exceptional. We were expecting lessor quality because we were in an airport, but not the case. Everything was great, especially our server, David. He was efficient, kind and had a great personality!

Compared to most DFW restaurants this place is great. I am not usually a Cajun food fan but I was ok with the Shrimp Etouffee entree. Large portion and lots of shrimp.

Not too spicy.

Stopped by the C09 gate location for a quick meal before my flight. As usual, the food and service were fast and great. I ordered the seafood fondeaux, which is enough for four people. Had plenty of crawfish and shrimp and plenty of bread for dipping.

Had a long layover at the Dallas airport and decided to grab a drink and an early dinner. My waiter was Emmanuel and he was superb. He was running around non-stop checking in with all the diners and making sure we were taken care of.
The shrimp po boy sandwich was a large portion and pretty tasty too. Glad I stopped in.

Food recommendations were very delicious, sever was nice and knows the menu well. Quite pricey but given its inside the airport terminal. And they get super busy.
