Wow!! Truly delicious seafood and AMAZING service! My server was Stevie and she was truly great. Very attentive, great conversation and knowledgeable of the restaurant and menu. The dishes can be a pit pricey but so worth it! If you’re looking for delicious and fresh seafood, come here!!

This place is so fantastic, they decided to build an airport around it.

Awesome airport escape spot! Our server was Jalen, and the service was impeccable! He was very friendly and first asked what time our flight was. Although our next flight was delayed, I appreciated that. Do you know what else? He refilled my glass of water like 5 times. haha, I drink lots of water, but many servers assume you don’t want any more, so I have to ask. Jalen was very proactive and attentive.

Our flight was delayed and we were hungry. Pappadeaux’s has always been good to us so we decided to visit this one. What a fantastic experience we had. Our server, Allen, was so professional, helpful and a pleasure to talk with. Thank you.

This review is for the Pappadeaux inside the Dallas Fort Worth Airport terminal. We were stuck at DFW Airport for an unexpected 4 hour delay. Luckily for us this gem of a restaurant was close by. It gave us the opportunity to have a hike relaxed meal without all the noise of the airport. It was such a nice change from the usual burger, pizza or Chinese fast food places that abound. It is located on the 1st floor of terminal A. You can only reach it by using an elevator or escalator from the 2nd floor. This really takes it to a new level as you “leave the airport hubub”. Prices are quite high, but that’s already expected in the airport. We each got the Cobb salad. It was nothing short of incredible! Fresh and delicious! Service was quite fast.

After 10 hours on a plane and knowing you have another plane to catch, you want good food to help you make it through the day and we knew Pappadeaux was the place to go. As we told one of our traveling companions “there is nothing bad here”. We were not disappointed. We started with the crawfish and shrimp fondue and with garlic bread. It’s so good you could just eat it by the spoonfuls. I had the shrimp and scallops pasta. The seafood was grilled and then added to the pasta. So good! My husband had the Greek salad which is his favorite any time we visit a Pappadeaux restaurant. Our son had the shrimp Po’Boy and his girlfriend, who is fairly picky and not a huge seafood fan, had the shrimp gumbo. She finished every drop. Our server Christian was fantastic. We had been in Europe for 10 days and our son was craving an iced tea. Before Christian could finish taking our order our son has finished his drink. Instead of getting frustrated like a lot of servers might, he just busted out laughing and immediate went to refill the glass. After that he would refill it, stand there, let our son take a drink and then top it off even if it was just a splash. We were all laughing so hard. It was exactly what we needed. I keep hoping the day will come that the Pappas chain makes it to SWMO. Buccees made it now Pappas please?!

Reasonably good and quick for an airport eatery. During a layover in Dallas I noticed the unique escalator entrance leading down into this New Orleans themed sit-down restaurant in DFW terminal A. Sat at the bar as there was a 20min wait for a table.

GREAT Crab Mac and cheese, the cheese pull on that cured my trauma. The gumbo rocked too, but I inhaled it too fast to take a pic of. The dirty rice was flavorful too, those bay leaves saaang baby.

Very unexpected level of quality and atmosphere for an airport restaurant / lounge. The food was near perfect (got full too fast) and the service was top notch.

I have loved this restaurant chain for a long time. I ate at Pappadeaux restaurants in Colorado New York, and Atlanta. The high quality is the same no matter where I’ve been. The sea food always tastes very fresh. The prices are a little high but the quality makes up for it . If you found this review helpful please click the thumbs Up button.
