Papis is officially our new favorite spot! We’ve tried a few things so far and have been blown away every single time. The quesadillas, nachos, burritos, and Mexican fries are all 10/10.
What really sets this place apart is that the food isn’t just good—it’s delicious and loaded. They are not stingy with the ingredients! The portions are huge, and you get so much high-quality food for your money. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just soooo good. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

I don’t know about the food, but I stood in front of the “order here sign,” for 5 minutes, with an employee not acknowledging me. He was the only employee there, I get it, but you can it can at least acknowledge a customer and tell them that you will be with them as soon as you can. I’m not only there for the food but also the customer service because that is part of the experience. If this is how this establishment conducts itself, I would want nothing to do with it. But I am pretty sure that it could be a one-off. But I will never know because I will never visit this establishment again.

My family and I ate here and we were very impressed! I had the chicken bowl the chipotle sauce is a must! My daughter had the quesadilla and it was delicious and filling. My partner had the steak taco platter he had a different spicier sauce and was very happy with his meal. We would make the trip to Gretna again just to come eat here again!

I have dietary restrictions, and Chris and his team at the Gretna location have not only accommodated my needs but also gone above and beyond. In addition, the food phenomenal (way better than Chipotle and Qdoba), and everyone there is so kind. You won’t be disappointed.

An enormous amount of food for the price, it’s like chipotle but the food tastes better, the portions are bigger, and the price is lower. Insanely delicious, I’m an OTR truck driver and ran into this place by coincidence. 100% planning on stopping here more often now and doing more routes through this area.

New to the area and first time eating at Papis Mexican and Jimmy’s Burgers. We were there on Labor day and the line was out the door. A big shout out to the 3 gentleman working on Labor day, I didn’t get their names but they were proving above and beyond customer service. They were multi-tasking making sure to take care of the large amount of customers as efficiently and quickly as possible while having a good positive friendly attitude. The guys were working together as a great team and deserve to be recognized for their hard work and dedication. It was very impressive. The food was delicious and was enjoyed by all. Definitely would recommend and will return.

The guy working the counter had not changed the same gloves he used to grab each ingredient for my burrito. Went to go check out with the iPad and had still the same pair of gloves on even after I signed the iPad. Overall cleanliness of the restaurant was sub par. Would not recommend

We came in tonight and the place was clean. The service was wonderful and the guys working behind the counter were fantastic! I would definitely come just to hang out and have a good beer and some good food anytime!
