Americanised version of Thai food ! Pretty impressive I must say, came here 2 times in 3 days ! The crab meat fried rice is just yummy in the tummy, ask for Thai hot if you’re a spice lover ! Would never go wrong, the spring rolls are stuffed with fresh cabbage and awesome !

I never write reviews immediately after leaving a place unless it was bad but lissssssten to me when I say if you like Thai food you need to come to Paper Plane. I stopped in for lunch on my way to an event and was seated at the bar bc I was solo.I had the Pad Zu with shrimp medium. Brandon took amazing care of me and the food was ahhhhmazing. If you like Thai food and are in Hapeville, passing Hapeville, thinking about Hapeville go to Paper Plane. (My bill was a little higher bc I also had a glass of wine but that’s my business)

Bro, if you’re stuck at the airport this is the spot. It’s close enough. The drink and food menu are excellent. The services and ambiance is perfect. The prices are surprisingly fair. I had a local lager for $8, a Thai lemongrass shrimp salad for $12, and a lychee martini for $12 more. Great spot!

Been to many restaurants over the years around Virgina Ave and Paper Plane has to be one of the best. Portions were a bit smaller than expected but the quality of food, great service, and super cool atmosphere made up for it. Great beers on tap. Chatted with the owners for a bit and they were super nice as well. Wasn’t super excited about the automatic 20% service charge getting added to any dine-in bill but I would have given them 20% tip anyway so it’s all good. If you want authentic Thai food with a great atmosphere and a diverse drink menu, this is where you want to come.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the potstickers and spring rolls for appetizer for lunch. We ordered the crab fried rice and pictured here is the pad zu noodles with chicken. I will definitely be back!

Great bar and upscale Asian food. Can play games and have fun on the back patio.

Traditional Thai basil chicken rice with egg was awesome. Ask for the traditional version with less sauce – more veggies. Shana and Wind (and everyone in the back) – the food was inspiring. Trying my hand at these, at home, thanks to you!

My company had a meeting and great event there. The food was amazing, especially the shrimp tempura. The drinks were really good. I am not a margaritas person, but their mango margaritas were really good.

The atmosphere is nice. That’s what attracted me to try the food which is mediocre at best, and the service was lousy. Management/owners just sat at the bar on their laptops missing an opportunity to see that we still didn’t have our food after 30 minutes. Our waiter (male) was horrible. This was during lunch. We were very disappointed!!!

Paper plane or Spoon in East Atlanta are both my go to places when I want a calm, intimate setting with friends. Always a good time with quality food options.
