I had high expectations for the food because of all the other great reviews, and it did not disappoint. Indian in general is one of my favorite cuisines and I get it somewhat frequently and Paper Dosa instantly became one of the best places Ive gone too. It’s nice to see an Indian restaurant with a more focused menu (South Indian in this case) as opposed to the typical all the curries you see elsewhere.
I really enjoyed the lamb keema dosa and the Madurai chicken curry.

If you want to try South Indian dosas this is a must try in New Mexico. Dosa is generally a breakfast/dinner dish that is typically eaten every other day and tasting it as a South Indian especially as someone from chennai this hit a home run!!!! Paper Dosa, Masala dosa and ghee prawn are a must try!! Even the mango lassi was perfect, not too sweet and well flavoured and omg the gulab jamun was perfect, it was perfectly warm and sweet!!! Thank you Paper dosa for the amazing food, you made my day for sure!

We were surprised to find such authentic taste in Santa Fe. The idli fry was crunchy and the chutney it came with was fire! The dosa was crunchy and tasted very flavorful. The bhel puri was the real show stopper. One of the most amazing bhel puri I have had in USA. Had pieces of raw mango that made it very authentic and refreshing!

The food is all perfectly spiced and mind-blowing, and it is amazing how delicious it can be without being spicy at all. Every single thing I have tasted here is 5/5. They prepare the food really fast too even when the place is really packed.

What a treat. We had a delicious paper dosa. It doesn’t just look awesome, it takes great. Crispy but not dry. On top of the great food, I had an excellent beer (super malty, just great). Finally, the staff is very friendly, and they work well together. We had several waiters help us, which made for a prompt and attentive service. To top it off, they clearly appreciated each other, helping each other and supporting each other. A great dinner.

It’s 8:45pm on a Friday evening. I’m still sitting in the booth, with a very full stomach, amazed at the meal I just had.
3 friends and I shared the following (caution, we ordered a lot to try everything):
Chennai Chicken
Kale and Onion Pakora
Idli Fries
Pappadum with chutneys
Classic Masala Dosa
Green Chili Cheese Dosa
Masala Uttapam
Madurai Chicken Curry
A special eggplant dish they had on the menu
Mango Lassi
Mezcal Negroni
Still deciding what to get for dessert but holy smokes, one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
Highly recommend this place if you want very good South Indian food!
Cherry on top is the fact that it has a very huge gluten free selection
Most important, from the host to the waiter, the chef and all the other staff, everyone was so welcoming. Customer service at its finest

Had curry chicken and paper dosa, we loved it. We started with the puri first, was very flavorful, then the chicken came out, had several large chicken pieces unlike other Indian restaurants we’ve been to, and massive paper dosa w sauces and potato mash that we really enjoyed, it was excellent. We sat at the bar, so we were lucky to get seated quickly, my only comment would be that the curry needed a little more cumin kick, but we asked for mild so maybe that’s what you get, otherwise it was very good.

Fantastic seasonal dosas and curries. The papadam is a great starter for two. If you have room for dessert, the carrot halwa is as tasty as it is beautiful!

Excellent South Indian food in Santa Fe! Limited menu, but every dish is uniquely crafted and full of flavor. The dosas are outstanding, and I especially loved the coconut rice and other coconut-based items. Warm, friendly service and cozy South Indian decor add to the charm. It can get crowded, so go early or be ready to wait — totally worth it!
