What a fun evening shared with friends! We won the Christmas dinner raffle and were so taken back by the generosity of Papa’s Pizza on West 11th. Full salad bar, soda, apps, and pizza on the house as the prize! Make sure you enter your name next holiday season!
They do such a good job with all of their pizzas. Our favorite is The Beaster! The kiddos had so much fun playing in the play zone! We got to watch the game and sit by the fire. We left with full bellies and special memories. Huge shout out to our server, Jess! (They don’t normally have servers, was a perk of the prize) She made us feel so welcome. There was a huge rush, and she did such a good job of checking in on us in the midst of it, while simultaneously holding it down in the kitchen! I can’t imagine all the call-ins for deliveries. That crew knows how to move!
Looking forward to our next hang at papa’s 🙂

Great pizza, i really dig the mount bachelor pizza with banana peppers & artichokes! The service is friendly and accommodating the reason i didnt rate 5 stars is the cost. I find it to be pretty expensive for a pizza joint.

Let me focus my review on the lunch buffet. The salad bar is very adequate and fresh enough. The pizza on the buffet… well, its fine. There is a reason you see people eating at the buffet with plates full of the bread from their pizza and all the topings are eaten. It comes with a soda. For $12. Zero complaints. Excellent economy.

We order Papas for our employees about twice a month and they are the only place I know of that can cater for 70 people in a 45 min window, it’s incredible! The style of pizza is so unique whenever someone comes to Eugene for the first time I always recommend Papas.

DEAD FLY’S AND LARVA FOUND ON PIZZA
I just picked up a $40 pizza for lunch on my way to work. I ate 3 slices before I noticed 2 dead flies and larva on my pizza. I called them to see if we could make this right, as I am stuck at work for 10 more hours with no food now. The lady on the phone was super nice and willing to deliver a new pizza to my work. She then put me on hold until the manager answered. He was very rude and started calling me a liar. I told him I have it right in front of me, a dead fly maggot larva covered pizza. I asked if there was a way we can make this right, whether its refund me my money or deliver me a non larva covered pizza – to which he told me no. He swears up and down they didnt put flies or larva in there, which is besides the point. I respectfully asked for a refund or new pizza since I now have NO LUNCH and instead got called a liar and was told theres nothing they can do about it.
Congratulations papas pizza, youve lost a lifelong customer thats been going there since I was a small child. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Ordered a delivery. Cooked well. Asked to be called so I could go out side to meet and not have the door bell rang as it would create havoc with the dogs. No call, door bell used. I got the wrong pizza delivered. Called and had to wait awhile for delivery to come back to deliver the correct one. I spoke with the manager he had the driver come back. The pizza was not cooked well. It should had, had a crispy crust. The pizza and service has gotten so bad on W. 11th. The manager did not offer a discount or any kind of correction due to knowing it was late and apparently it was not checked to ensure the cooking was done as requested. $40 is not a drop in the bucket. We work hard and to spend that much was a special expense. Maybe managers need to be looked at for what they are doing.

We went during the lunch buffet and it was extremely busy. Fresh salad bar and the staff kept the pizza bar stocked with fresh hot pizza. Definitely a wonderful experience and will be going back for sure.

Pizza pretty much sauceless. Cheese was weird. Salad bar for 9$ is not all you can eat like every other salad bar.and the place smells funny inside. Will not go back.

We have ordered from Papa‘s for almost 30 years. It’s always been exactly what we wanted. I don’t know if the recipes changed or the staff changed but last night we ordered two pizzas and we still have almost 2 full pizzas left. They did not taste good at all. They did not taste like Papa‘s pizza. We were highly disappointed that we just threw away $80 and now we have leftovers that we’re not gonna eat. Wish I would go back to the old papa’s.

Ordered a medium 1/2 Papas 1/2 pineapple to go. Got home and there were NO tomatoes on the papas side. Pizza was good, but could have been better with TOMATOES!!! Next time will check before leaving the restaurant!!
