I heard they had the best cheese burger’s around and after going today I absolutely agree! This is just a short drive from Lufkin and priced right. My cheeseburger with the sourdough bun was amazing and the french fries were fantastic ! The staff was super outgoing, friendly and cheerful! They even kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Next time we will leave room for dessert! Highly recommended!!!

Ok so I got the Home run burger and my wife got the 2 meat plate. Even though my wife didn’t get the smoked sausage in her order she still liked the sliced beef. Now the Home run burger was simply awesome. We have always enjoyed a good burger and have looked for a place for a go to. Well now we have found it!!! Never knew this place was even in Huntington but you best believe we will go here every time.

I’m sorry, I just walked put of this place, and it was amazing! Now I know for a fact Huntington has the best food around this area. I ordered a 3 meat with 2 sides, and all of the food was on point! Delicious home fries, and the bread roll they give you is freshly made and super soft. The service and attentiveness was superb. Will definitely keep coming until my job is over in this area. And if I have the chance to pass by, I’ll stop by to get more of this deliciousness! If these are family recipes, PLEASE never change them.

My wife said to say “that the rolls are soo FREAK’N good!” Haha We enjoyed the food and would likely come back, if traveling back through here, again. This was my first Boudain, the rice-filled sausage next to the brisket. I liked it! The atmosphere is nice. The service is good. The employees are kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Papa’s to a friend.

Anything from the bbq menu is good. The burgers are somewhat ok. The fries are terrible. Salad is okay. Workers are super nice. Fried pickles and cheese sticks are good. Ice is great. Sodas are good. Tea is good. I’ve had better burgers at brookshires grocery store restaurant side. I wouldn’t come back for the burger basket. But I would come back for the bbq items. AC is good inside. The parking lot sucks watch out for potholes. So if you want good barbecue this is the place to go to if you want a good burger combo keep looking.
