What a fun place. This is an outdoor establishment with lots to do. A pool, pool tables, a few video games and corn hole games. It’s a bar with upgraded bar food. Live music on the weekends and Tuesday is steak night ( can’t wait to try that). It was 104 the day we went so you may need to be a fast beer drinker because they don’t allow you to bring in your yeti! All in all, it was a good time. Lots of fans blowing and a lake view to keep you cool.

Great atmosphere, good food, but service is lacking. We rarely saw our waitress and were never offered drink refills. I would definitely recommend trying the fried pickles and potato skins, they were great! The stuffed jalapeños and mozzarella sticks were good as well. You can’t beat the beautiful lake view. We will be back!

The entire place is seat yourself. Me and my fiancé sat by the pool after 10 min of not being waited on we went to the bar to order a couple drinks and moved to a more populated area. After 20-30 min of waiting I asked a group of 3 servers if they would help. One gentleman said yes but he was going to deliver food first then come to us. To which he never showed up. Honestly If you’re looking for good service and friendly staff definitely choose the lake house. Yes you may have a wait to be waited on but that’s better than being completely ignored in an empty restaurant!!! See attached photos to see how empty the place is

Always enjoy the great view of the lake,people enjoying fishing, kayaking and jet skiing, boating..But most of all I enjoy the service of papa’s on the lake. My favorite fish tacos delicious..Enjoy the bands when they come in. Great place to visit…Highly recommended.

Bar food is okay. Love the atmosphere on the lake. They have a pool if you want to go swimming in front of everyone. Lol. Love going here for lunch. It’s my birthday spot.

Went there on Easter Sunday, they had a band and good atmosphere. Problem came when the staff acted like they didn’t want to be there. Like everyone was an inconvenience and they were annoyed. Waited 20min just to get served. They were so bad we had to go to the bar to get a drink first. The drinks were TERRIBLE almost like they were skimming, does this look like a Vodka Cranberry, where’s the vodka? Finally was able to order food, the food was decent and portions were good. However the attitude and staff was HORRIBLE.. What a shame because PaPa’s has an amazing setting, great location and used to be the place to go on Lake Conroe for a fun filled afternoon. So sad the ownership let’s the staff act in this manner. Now I understand why the place was maybe half full on a busy weekend.

Amazing!!! Perfect service – great view! Food homemade had fish and chips yummy! The color of the building and the lake just transport you to the 70s… you can deck your boat or jet ski and they have a pool for 21+ only … I just wish to have some more fresh air system outdoor and that would have been paradise on earth! But hey now this is Texas! I’m learning to get use to the heat….
