First time trying Alligator. It literally tastes like chicken, it’s delicious; with or without Papa’s Sauce. The food, the price, and the service are phenomenal, they did a fantastic job. If you are too chicken to try alligator you can’t ever go wrong with their catfish. Great Experience. I Highly Recommend Papa’s Kitchen.

We went to get some crawfish today and Papa’s Kitchen did not disappoint! The seasoning was amazing and the service, as always, was the best.
The drive through service is great and quick. The server at the window took the time to explain the combos to us and was very patient and courteous. The menu is varied. I highly recommend the crab legs, their Saturday lunch special.
We also had the alligator which our 6 and 10 year old kids LOVED. The sauces are amazing, portions are more than enough, and their prices are accessible. I will definitely recommend to friends in BCS because it’s a short 20-min drive to Hearne and totally worth it!

We were pleased to learn that Papa’s Kitchen was open for dine-in when so many other locations offer only Drive By take away.
Wife & I each had the Shrimp Plate with sides and were pleased.

My boyfriend and I were on a 5 hour drive to Longview and decided we needed to grab a bite to eat before it got to late. We searched the internet for places to eat in Hearne, and after reading the reviews on Papas Kitchen we decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did! The fish was awesome!!! Not to mention the service!! Those girls working there were very very friendly and attentive!!! We will definitely go back!!!!

Great new restaurant in Hearne!! We have eaten here 3 times, and everything has tasted delicious! Owners and wait staff have been so friendly and attentive! Prices are also very reasonable! We have really enjoyed eating here!

I’m not quite sure what to say about this place. Went in and there was only one other table in there and one person waiting for a to go order. We waited about 25 minutes for the only person working the front to get both our drink and food order at the same time since we obviously had plenty of time to look over the entire menu several times. I had to question myself and remind myself what I ordered because the fried pork chops looked like chicken fried steak. They were overly battered and sooo salty. I managed to take half of the breading off and eat them anyways. When I was taking my last few bites I managed to break my fork in one of the last pieces trying to cut it because it was so hard. The waitress had only been to our table twice the entire time; once to get our order and again to bring our food/refill our drink. We never once got checked on or asked how the food was. So fast forward to us finally getting up to leave and one of the patrons asked if he could use the ladies restroom because they had the men’s out of order. I only gave this restaurant 2 stars bc the food was hot when it came out and the prices are ok. I’ll have to think twice if I plan to return.

This place is the go to, ive had an amazing experience and amazing food. It is literally the best sea food place I’ve been to so far. The manager is super nice and so helpful, he went through the whole menu with us and explained to us everything and helped us pick out the food. Great customer services!!

Hearne has literally never seen a restaurant this good before. And never will do. It’s is the best sea food I’ve had their shrimp and special sauce is amazing. They are the cleanest restaurant in hearne they make sure to take care of their customers before anything else. I LOVED IT
