Hands down the best beef gyro platter I’ve had in Western New York! Came here on a recommendation and Papa’s absolutely delivered. The beef was perfectly seasoned, tender, and shaved super thin – you can tell they slice it fresh. The portion is huge (regular size easily feeds two if you’re not starving), and it comes loaded with fluffy basmati rice, crisp fresh salad, warm pita, and that addictive white garlic sauce that I could drink by the gallon.
Everything tastes clean and homemade – no greasy aftertaste, just pure flavor. The red hot sauce on the side gave it that perfect kick without overpowering the meat. Staff was super friendly even though they were slammed, and the food came out lightning fast.
$ well spent. Already craving my next one. If you’re anywhere near Depew/Transit Rd, do yourself a favor and grab the beef gyro platter – you won’t regret it. Papa’s is the real deal!

I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The chicken over rice was absolutely amazing, with perfectly balanced flavors and cooked to perfection. The meat were really juicy. The lamb and chicken over rice was delicious. They actually put a lot of meat on top. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu

I came from Canada looking for a spot to eat before my drive back and came upon the best affordable halal food option available. Asad, the brother working there at the time was extremely hospitable. I never got such nice customer service in Canada. Immediately I felt like I had entered a close friend’s home. They offered me a free sample and it tasted so good, I ended up just going with a full plate of that. On top of that they loaded the plate so much, I couldn’t even close it.

This was a pickup order that I made. The food was incredible. Tons of flavor and packed full to the brim. There’s a lot of add-ons including a variety of different sauces.
The guys behind the counter were super friendly. They offered me a sample of their mango lassi and it was tasted amazing. I was really tempted to order one right there but regretfully decided not to.
The place seems mostly for pickup and delivery. I’ll definitely be ordering more food from here soon.

Absolutely loved my experience at Papa’s Halal Gyro! The service was top-notch — the guy at the counter was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a first-time customer, he even gave me a free sample, which was a great touch. The place itself is super clean, nicely renovated, and has a great vibe. I also appreciated the outdoor seating, which was spacious and comfortable. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. First time I’ve ever gone to this place and I am very happy I went. While the place is small and can be a little awkward when busy the owner was very nice and accommodating. While the food looked like many other places I’ve been the taste and quality was a step above. Everything I ordered was delicious and the atmosphere the owner provided makes it an easy go to when I want middle eastern, Greek, or Indian food as the menu does provide a lot of variety including burgers and fries. Highly recommend.

First off, Father and Daughter are so friendly and nice. The restraurant is very Clean. They gave me samples when I first came in. I came back today, ordered Garlic Chicken Wrap, it is delicious the chicken has awesome flavor, I had Garlic sauce, Parm cheese, Veggies salad, black olives, Tzatziki & white sauce on top. This wrap packs a flavor Punch, My only complaint, Veggies could be cut in smaller pieces, so big chunks arent falling out when you are enjoying your wrap. It was a 10 out of 10 for me.
