I moved from SC, where there was a Brother’s & Beer. I missed it so much and was super excited to find Papa’s & Beer. They did not disappoint! Everything was delicious, and the service was great. I ordered the Burrito California steak… Amazing, and it was huge. I brought leftovers home and have enough for two more (smaller) meals. I will definitely be back. I also ordered a Bloody Mary…it was super spicy. The waitress did warn me that it wouldn’t be the same as a normal Bloody Mary, and she was right. However, it was still pretty good. If you haven’t been here, you have to try it!

The food is always excellent! Try to wildberry margarita. They do have a salsa bar, which is excellent. The restaurant is too small and it is difficult to move around. Otherwise we come here every time we are in town.

Excellent Cali-Mex food, just like their other locations. I gave it a 4 b/c is it always smoky in the dining room. Get a better ventilation and I’ll bump it up to a 5! They have the best salsa bar around, generous portions and great service.

It was too hot in the restaurant. Took forever to be waited on, get drinks, etc. Gave 3 stars because some of our food was good, some not so good. Fried ice cream was HORRIBLE. Salsa was just pico. We had to wait for everything, much longer than we should have. BUT they have excellent french fries. Weird, right? Won’t be back anytime soon, and hope they have a/c fixed when we do.
