Cute little place in Okemah, OK that used to be a service station. The service was warm and attentive. The portions were generous and oh my so delicious! House cut French fries, house made ranch, and the meat was cooked perfectly. Papa and Mama work tirelessly to bring quality BBQ to the table. The sweet tea is VERY sweet but refreshing so if you usually do half and half, do like 1/4-3/4. I would definitely drive down just for BBQ to this little place, especially to support Papa and Mama in Okemah, OK!

So exited to find a brisket placed open after 2 pm and before 5pm. We were driving back home and hungry. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. The food was so good we had to take some to go. Definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for a brisket place.

Probably one of the best in OKLAHOMA. Kids said no cap. When they started with just the smoke trailer and a small building. The smoke filled the air around town and the smell alone would make your mouth water. Once spoke to the “Old Man” of the establishment. Very nice and humble. We traded stories exchanged handshakes and have been fans ever since. That was around 2012. Sure miss them old prices..

Good food in a small town.
The brisket was a little leaner than I prefer, but was seasoned and smoked well. The sauces were pretty sweet, but the spicy was a good heat level too. Mac and cheese was a good homestyle shell version, the sweet tea was straight out of my mamaw’s kitchen, and that ranch was something to write home about.
Quick and friendly service for the non-locals too.

Everything from the service to the food was excellent! We are traveling and passing through to California and we will certainly make this our #1 stop passing through again. The owner was such a joy to talk to. He even came out to the car to see about us.

The brisket here is by far the best I have had. Most places are dry brisket nope not here IT IS JUICY!!! You don’t need any bbq sauce on the brisket at all. The flavor man, the flavor is so good. The service is always good. I’m hooked on the brisket and the corn they started making. The sweet tea is pretty awesome too.

Food by far the best, 50 miles around there. In that small town to the next! I have not tried anything there since the great re-opening, I’m truly sure the food is quite delicious, still.

Unfortunately, the folks behind me, was being talk to by the cashier?
That is quite nice, to know everyone you serve, and grew up with.
To bad, I did not have but 20 minutes to order and go. So please, if you stop in give extra time to the great place.
You need tobe kind and patient with family run staff? Give of your self and time to waited on. Unsure of wait time, a maybe better than 27 minutes!
