Beautiful! We noticed this gem after eating at a neighboring business, therefore, unable to provide a rating for food & service, but we stopped at Papa’s Rooftop at the top of the Historic Water Street Inn for a beverage, a look at the delicious menu and the million dollar view of the St. Croix!

The food was pretty average I‘d say. The pizza looked like an average American, doughy pizza. The topping options sounded good though. The salads were good and fresh. In my option the salads are the best options.

Amazing view of the river!!! Drink and food were super yummy. We got the Brussels sprouts, steak bits and pig and fig pizzas. Highly recommend all of these!!!! The pizza was like dessert. Great place to have a bit, drink with a view or to celebrate an event. They do not have gluten free pizza or many options.

Good food, service, and views. Weather matters, of course. We happened to be there when hot air balloons were doing tours over the St. Croix River, which was super colorful and scenic. Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner.

We went here for drinks on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The drinks were good. The prices are a little high but that was expected. The view from our table was awesome!

3.5 score Scenic view is definitely a 10+, thin crust pizza was overcooked, almost tasteless, prices were high but reasonable, service was friendly & efficient though short-staffed. Family group with young children seemed to be having a great time. Business men in suits were eating and talking ignoring the view, tourists were taking selfies. I’ll try it again later at night for drinks and dessert. Every day I’ve spent in Stillwater has been a WIN!

Papa’s has a beautiful view, kind and courteous staff, and excellent food to boot. We came here for a Stillwater date night, eyes shimmering with the joy of connection and passion, only to find that alas, they were closing down the kitchen . But all hope was not lost… The staff kindly let us know they could still make something if we put it order in quickly. So we did, settling on flatbread, a sandwich, and tuna starters. Everything came out quickly and beautifully prepared! It was a delightful, as was the company and the glorious glow of the city and the fall colors.
