Can’t go wrong with Papa Vino’s! Great place for family gatherings, date night or business meeting. Clean restrooms. The bar has a casual atmosphere. The servers we’ve had the last two times have been super awesome! If you are in the area and never been to a Papa Vino’s you need to go if you like Italian!

Notice anything strange about the 3 pizzas? Yes, that’s right. The cook separated all the ingredients so we got a lot less of each and didn’t get to eat it all together. The lemon dessert and mushroom ravioli wasn’t so stellar I’d order it again. Service brought the food and returned when we needed more water and boxes.

I visited this restaurant twice. During our second visit, we had some issues with our food. Our servers gave us a top-notch service. She fixed the issues immediately and ensured that we were happy with our food. Since this is an Italian restaurant, ignore the pork chops and order real Italian dishes. Although I did not take a picture of it, I recommend the Chicken Marsala.

Incredibly friendly and professional wait staff. The price is comparable to Olive Garden, the menu is much better though. Our waiter, Mark was perfect. Not too present, not too absent. He gave us all the time we needed while checking in without rushing us. I ended up ordering what he recommended and was definitely satisfied by the choice. I will be back for sure!

Was looking for some Italian for lunch today, so I stopped by Papa Vino’s because I have not been there before. I had the combo chicken parmasian and lasagna my wife had the mushroom ravioli. I considered the food average nothing stood out at all. It is a chain restaurant, and the food was in line with most chain restaurants. The service was fairly slow as well. There are definitely some better Italian restaurants to eat around the South Bend area

Was in town for a work trip for two days and ate there for lunch and dinner. The Vino’s in Northville, MI (worked my first job bussing in ’97 and was a regular there after) and Sterling Heights, MI closed a few years ago, so the nearest one to me is 3 hours away. Needless to say I had to visit as much as I could while I had the chance.

We were seated immediately. Our waiter was pleasant and on task. It took a bit longer than expected for our meals. A decent wine list.

To start our dining room was beautifully adorned with what appeared to be hand-blown glass dish-like wall ornaments. The bread and oil served at seating were both fresh and delicious, with the center plate filled with roasted garlic then topped with seasoned oil. We had the minestrone soup with long island iced teas, both of which prepared quite well (needing no complaints). I had the gnocchi and my date had some form of vegetarian pasta that was equally delicious, though it’s name escapes me considering it was authentic in name and flavor alike. For dessert he had an ice cream dish (Spumoni) that included three different types of ice cream, cherries, whipped cream and chocolate syrup for garnish. I had the tiramisu which was admittedly very rich but I was hoping it would be and was pleased. The bill for all of this was under $100 and made for a fantastic first Italian restaurant experience for the man seated across from me. A big thanks to the hostess for seating us in a legacy booth from one of their long-time patrons who had passed somewhat recently. It made the experience that much more special knowing it was his go-to booth for years.

First time visit and I was blown away! Everything was fabulous from the bread and oil to my baked spinach and cheese raviolis to my boyfriend’s chicken and angel hair pasta, I gave service 4 stars only because I asked the waitress what soups they had and she didn’t know, she told me she would check but never told us. We will definitely be back, so many more entrees I want to try 🙂
