We are huge Papa fans and have been ordering take out for years and dine in. Something has been off lately. The first time, was a week ago and we shrugged it off but then it happened again. We ordered three pizzas, two pastas, and a chocolate chip peanut butter cookie for dessert only had one, wouldn’t make any more even though it was lunch time we were dining in, only table in the place and no phone activity. Pizza was not good. The sauce tasted different; it wasn’t the same great flavor that they have used in the past. Pasta had same sauce, not good and the taste was off. The cookie, what went on with that. The cookie was hard as a rock, dry like it had been sitting around for many days. What used to be a small delicious, moist treat was hard rock but they still served it and charged us for it. We had water for drinks and the bill came to $118.00 with tip which was a little hefty for what we got and how the food tasted. We wouldn’t had mind the price if the food was good but it wasn’t. Service was great and was the highlight of the visit. At this point, we all decided we won’t go back for a while and hopefully if we decide to try it again, everything will be better.

To start with the person taking the order wasn’t very friendly. I ordered a stuffed pizza with extra pepperoni. Most of the pizza had no pepperoni at all but lots of cheese. Then parts of the pizza had lots of pepperoni but very little cheese.
I also ordered jalapeno poppers and those tasted like the grease they cooked them in was old. I was very disappointed in all of it, especially for the price. This was my first time ordering and it will be my last.

Counter service did a great job handling my order over the phone and there customer service was fantastic when picking up my order. Very polite and respectful. I had a thin crust cheese pizza for dinner and to my surprise it was amazing! I will definitely be back to try other items and to eat more pizza!

This was my first time trying this place. I’ve been curious about it for a while. I ordered delivery and my food was delivered before the time that they stated which was amazing considering everyone was starving. The food was hot and fresh. The pizza sauce was perfect!!! Not too tart, not too sweet. The crust was nice and thin and crunchy on the edges. (Perfection to a born and raised Chicagoan)! I also ordered wings. I got the mild which had the perfect amount of kick!! It was absolutely delicious!!! I highly recommend them!! I am sooooo glad I finally ordered from here!!! My delivery guy was very nice too!! I will DEFINITELY be back!! This just may be my go to place for the thin crust pizza I crave so often!!

I thought this place was okay but I was wrong, they fooled me with one pizza that was made nice and neat and tasted good, but since then all the pizza are made very sloppy , there sauce is to sweet on the thin crust , there chicago style is some thick acid sauce that taste terrible and it’s why to doughy. They cannot get the orders correct always forgetting things and can’t make the pizza correct, I gave them a chance, but who ever runs this place or is making the pizza is not good and they need to sell this and let someone who cares take over! A family vote was taken and it was decided never again papa in huntley !

I was in town visiting one of my sites and stopped in for dinner. The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. I travel all over the US and the pizza here was easily one of the best I have ever eaten from around the country.
They also had a full bar if you are looking for that. I do not drink so I can’t comment on the pour or the pricing, but the atmosphere was great. I will definitely be returning when I am back in the area in a few months. Thank you

My family has been using Papa Savario’s for years. They truly do a fantastic job catering, and they have good bundle packs. I recommend it to make your family get-together dinners that much easier on you.

Ordered a late takeout dinner. Ordered a sausage and mushroom canzone. While waiting for it we sat at their bar and had a beer and seltzer. They havr quite a collection of hard liquor that includes Blanton’s, Talamore Dew, and other favorites. Whrn we arrived hone, the calzone was hot and tasty.
