True Italian resto in the same location since 1942. We passed through Cleveland and thought to pay a visit here. Great vibe and service and very good portions of food. They seem to care about leaving everyone happy. Both pasta and grill available options. Definitely recommend it!

We used to visit all the time. It’s been on my top 3 in Cleveland for several years but not anymore. Service was lazy, unhappy to even be there, and forgetful. We had to ask for ice in our drinks, refills, app plates, and our order was not correct. The food is over seasoned to the point I couldn’t eat. It tasted like someone lost the bottle of lemon juice in my seafood cannoeli. My sons spaghetti taste worst than always save brand jar pasta..

We came here because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. Great menu selection of freshly prepared foods. The staff working here made us feel comfortable and the restaurant was very clean which was important to us. There is a very high level of quality control here and feels like a family run business. I will definitely come back for sure.

We walked in . Was greeted with “are you guys with the other party “ No , it’s just us four . The waitress looked mad but seated us . We waited 15 minutes and they never came back to get drink order or even knowledge use again . So we waited 5 more minutes and left. Guy at door did not care we got up to leave either . Take in mind we drove two hours to eat here one way !!!!!

I don’t understand how it has this good of a rating. Service was slow. Took a good 45 minutes to get food. Granted we were a party of 8 but no excuse. I had to make the suggestion to the waitress to make us pitchers of tea because she just couldn’t keep up. We ordered some cheese sticks and bread and it was mediocre at best. 1 “special” was cheese manicotti. One of the guests at our table ordered steak well done

He sent it back and when it came back it was burned and he couldn’t eat it. The “house salad” was a walmart mixed salad and the ceasar was the same only add croutons and ceasar dressing.
Overall very underwhelmed with this place. Not great food. Maybe by cleveland standards. It’s about as authentic as olive garden.

If you’re looking for a nice romantic dinner for a decent price with authentic Italian with authentic portions this is the place. Before you can finish the appetizers you have your salad and by the time you finish your salad your healthy sized entre arrives. I will definitely be returning. Service was amazing and so was the waitress. Friendly and intimate environment and didn’t leave us waiting at all on Valentine’s Day night.

This is mostly for the owner as I have dined here vaguely for the last 4 years not being from Cleveland.
I have always made a point to eat here when visiting and sometimes come just to eat here stay the night and go home. Today business brought me here and I barely had time to get here before closing and be courteous to staff. Everything was wonderful as always. However I noticed a couple show up at 7:59 and be treated kindly and seated. I thought I would have to finish in a rush and leave to be thoughtful of the staff. (2 people; sever and cook) I was never rushed, food was phenomenal; I’ve dined all over the world
This is in my top 5. I believe COVID was tough on them but they persevered. All that being said this is incredible jewel; Cleveland don’t take Papa Rocs for granted. I have posted this the day I dined; owner please salute your staff. They have your best interest at heart.

Our server Mikayla was great! Very friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable of the menu items and very attentive . The food was great, full of flavor and cooked just right. First visit, but we’ll definitely be back if in the area again!

Service was outstanding, the food was superb, the Ambiance was wonderful and it was so unexpectedly good that I recommend this place to everyone. The food is well-prepared the staff is learned and our family had a wonderful time with more food than one person per could possibly eat. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a good Italian meal or a great steak.
