I’ve always come here for the best Chinese food in town, 2 Yeats ago, it was taken under new ownership and I feel like it has improved immensely. I always order my personal favorite which is sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken on a stick. Both very flavorful and the extra sauce goes well on the rice!

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at The Great Wall in New Milford was so disappointing, I feel compelled to say something. This place used to have a decent reputation, but unfortunately, that seems to be a thing of the past.
To start, the food was incredibly soggy and just plain nasty. The fried items were limp and greasy, as if they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The rice was mushy, the meat chewy, and everything had a weird aftertaste like it had been reheated several times.

The crab rangoons are amazing! I always get the General Tso’s and I’ve always enjoyed it. My family shares the Udon, and they always say its the best in New Milford. Love this place!

Wanted to get Chinese takeout. Apparently, Great Wall is the only Chinese food takeout that is open on Monday in New Milford. The order was ready within the timeframe they gave. Plenty of parking in front. They take Covid very seriously. Please see the pictures for their safety precautions.
We got a few different selections. The best was the chicken and broccoli. The sauce was delicious. Also got General tsao which is my favorite. Unfortunately, there was not much taste to it. Also got crispy orange beef. Didn’t have much of it but it tasted good. As a side got pork lo mein with no vegetables. One of the better lo mein I have eaten. Overall a good experience. They are not my first choice, but they are always open including Mondays.

No frills take-out Chinese restaurant. The food was cooked quickly and was very good. Ordered the general two chicken, roast pork loin mein and fried wings.

We opted for delivery but wish we had ordered elsewhere. Everything was overcooked..better than undercooked I guess. Nothing tasted freshly made at all. It was bad. Expensive too. Thats all…bad and expensive. Do not recommend.

Nothing like making someone change their 5 star review to 1 star. I ordered on the Door Dash app at 7:20PM for pickup. It said order would be ready between 7:40 and 7:45. Then, at 7:21 I got a text saying that my order was ready. I didn’t believe it, but I left home and arrived at 7:35. The lady working said OK, just a minute. She then gave food to 4 other people that were waiting there over the course of 20 minutes and said to me, “Okay, I’ll start yours now”… This was at 7:50! I said I got a text at 7:21 that the order was ready. She said she was sorry, she hit the button accidentally. That’s fine because I didn’t believe it anyway, but I would think that the best thing you can do to make up for your mistake is get the order going right away .. but no, at 8:01 I finally walked out of there with my food. 40 minutes after it said the order was ready and 26 minutes after I arrived. The worker appears great there… she runs around and moves fast, but running around to get things done and running around like a chicken with your head cut off are 2 different things.

I’ve been to Great Wall of China 3 times and 3 times they’ve charged me more. Then what’s on the menu? The last time the lady said it’s because I gave you five chicken wings instead of four, when I opened the box, it was four, besides that, the chicken wings were old and stale

My experience was exceptional.
The food was very tasty & the [only] lady working was very courteous.
I was a cold walk-in, and was out the door in 15 minutes with my food.
Will definitely be eating here again.
