PAPA MURPHY’S PINOLE CA
Okay I have lots and lots to say about this.place but I’m going to be very honest
I give this place 3 stars not because I don’t like this place it was my very 1st time
Coming here my BF wanted to buy us pizza . Which I was like ok never had this before.
So we went in I asked for the Hawaiian half and pepp half ,double pepp, and he ordered the thin xl pepp with white sauce . By the way that one wasss soo soo gudd 10 out of 10 on that one .
But the problem is . I wish this lady smiled when she greeted us and who ever was there 1st. Okay so I ordered we paid 38.00 for 3 pizzas not bad at all.
We have lots of kids so it worked out.
Our whole order was wrong she complained about the other customers I didn’t say anything I just told her not to worry I don’t have to have what we ordered I was being polite and honest I was not tripping or my BF . Mrs lady I hope u get some help I do I wanted to help u because I saw ur stress but don’t I want u to know that just taking one step at a time is OK. You did great no matter what I’m gentle with the service I know it’s rough. But the complaining in front of people’s is a no no. Just being real. But the pizza was good I liked the one my bf ordered not the ones I ordered Lol the white sauce makes a Difference

My favorite order is the vegetarian delight on thin crust with bacon. Trust me on the thin crust. For some reason the taste of the thin crust is much better than original crust.

And then he tells me “Hey! Papa Murphy’s Take & Bake Pizza is the best pizza in the world!” So, I say to him… Look, Mr. Nitwit you’re the brain surgeon here right…I mean after all you’re the one that bought a rundown 1989 Winnebago to live in, and keep it parked within walking distance to Papa Murphy’s…right….You live in Pinole, you smell car exhaust all day long and the traffic noise is 24/7 and I’m not even going to mention bathing at the gas station.
Then, he says…”Yeah, but I can walk right to Papa Murphy’s and get a pizza in 3 minutes, so it’s worth it!

I ordered 2 pizzas and a salad for delivery. The food was at my door within 30 minutes! The pizzas were delicious! My fave is the Bacon/chicken artichoke delight! YUM!! And the house always smells good when we “bake it at home!”

Ordering online was a breeze. Ordering ahead with a specified time worked on my timeline. The young lady behind the counter was peppy, friendly and sweet. She was full of holiday spirit, which rubbed off on me. She was delightful and used manners, which you do not encounter often in brick and mortar stores. The pizzas and their cheesy garlic bread were very tasty . Their menu offers a variety of pizzas to suite everyone’s taste.

I went to a matinee movie near Papa Murphy’s so after the film I drove over there to get a pizza. It was a Tuesday when they have specials and when I got to the door I found that there was a sign saying that for the Tuesday specials you had to order online. So I stepped away from the door and sat in my car and used my cell phone to order the pizza. It told me it would take 30 minutes for it to be ready. So I sat in my car for about 15 minutes and then went into the shop which was empty except for employees. I asked for my pizza and they had not begun to make it. They were just waiting until the 30 minutes were over before they attempted to prepare it at all. It was a huge disappointment. I used to go to this shop regularly before the pandemic but it’s been several years since I’ve been there and the service and attitude have just disappeared and the particular pizza that I got lacked sauce and lacked flavor so it’s a negative.
