I rarely write reviews but this was so bad. Terrible customer service, & pizza’s were both wrong. We went in at 7:35 & the woman working was visibly upset when we walked in. She asked if it was a pick up, & when we said no, she acted completely put out throwing her head back and stormed off to the back to get the other employee (Dominic) He was so annoyed, he literally threw his hands on his hand and threw his head back. They were obviously very clearly annoyed they had to make the pizza’s because they were trying to close early (not until 8pm) I would understand if it was actually close to their closing, but 25 mins before on a Thursday night seems ridiculous to act that way. We chose papa Murphy’s because our kids are picky and (if made correctly), they actually eat it. It was extremely uncomfortable so we tried to get out as fast as we could- my husband still leaving them a tip. When we got home, we realized both pizzas were wrong-our pepperoni pizza had ZERO pepperonis, and the other was made with white sauce instead of marinara-which we clarified with her twice. The entire experience was so uncomfortable and now beyond frustrating. Definitely won’t be going back.

My review is actually 3.5 stars. Overall, I think Papa Murphy’s pizza is actually pretty good. Their dough needs more salt and a little more fat (butter or oil) tastes a little bit bland and like bread dough on its own. The stuffed pizzas are interesting, but more of a 3. The thin crust is fantastic, I’d give those 4-5 stars. I recommend to follow their instructions for baking and leave it on the cardboard pizza pan they give for about 7-10 minutes before removing it.

I have been a Papa Murphys Loving Mom for as long as they have been in Ut County, until a few years ago. For years the standard was high, the toppings just right, and a fair price with a loyalty stamp card. They also put a coupon on top of each Pizza, for your next order. I am not cheap, but I appreciate value for money spent.Then the coupons were changed & not for the better. They did away with the loyalty cards. They started changing sizing & pricing of pizza. They even changed some of the recipes. The chain has made itself come off as miserly. Not, what you’re looking for when you want pizza. It’s just not fun & easy & clean, like at first. Our Family really likes a thin crust pizza & theirs is great ‼️ Since I cook it at home, I can get it exactly how crisp we like it. If not for that, I would probably not be a customer any longer.. The staff seams to get younger & younger, each time I go in. Team training is an issue. It’s to bad because they have a few really good flavors, like the Thai Pizza, the Original Veggie Delite(which I can’t seem to get anyone to make correctly anymore ). The BBQ Chicken & meat lovers are great also…..BUT, the toppings barely cover the dough. Sad, really. If they continue with this Chain/Franchise style, they will put themselves out of business. Papa Murphys, PLEASE, step it back up‼️

I would give 0 stars if it let me. My husband picked up a pepperoni pizza. He was led to believe he could only order a family size. There’s an inch and a half of pepperoni on the pizza. Because there’s too much pepperoni the grease is utterly RIDICULOUS!!! I had to wipe my plate and my pizza off every 5 minutes! I will Never go back to that store again.

If you are considering ordering a heart shaped pizza this Valentine’s, order from a different location. On Thursday I ordered a heart shaped pizza from the Lehi location for a dinner I was having. During the day Friday, I decided I needed another pizza and ordered the same exact product, for the same price, but from the Orem location. The one from the Orem location was much, much smaller and not worth $11. Pretty disappointing to see this inconsistency between locations.

After paying for a pizza, they gave me the wrong one. After politely letting them know I didn’t want the pizza, they wouldn’t make another one without me paying for it. It was a basic a cheese pizza. I did not wanna argue with them so I just paid for another pizza and decided to leave a review.
I guess I will just find another Papa Murphy’s to go to or stick with Pizza Hut or dominoes or Pier 49.
