I have been going to this establishment for over 10 years and at least order take out once a week. However, they have a new “owner”. I placed an online order and was late to picking it up, it had been 52 minutes since I placed the order until I got to the store to pick it up. I have always been able to place an online order and pick it up within 30 minutes tops on a Tuesday. So, once I got to the establishment I checked the rack for my to-go order and noticed it wasn’t there. They had 2-3 customers inside and I got in line at the cashier counter behind one person (whom said he placed his order 10 minutes prior, and the new manager said that it would be right out). Whenever it was my turn to speak with the manager, I told her that I was trying to figure out what was going on with my order, she asked my name and I told her and then she started to talk demeaningly in a quiet tone to her 2 younger pizza makers (that were also new, but very kind). After the new manager disrupted me to get on to her employee’s she began to yell at me and lose her temper. The reason was is because I simply asked calm and collectively why my order wasn’t ready after I had placed it 50 minutes prior. She then proceeded to “call the cops” which im almost positive she faked it, because I begged her to get the cops there because they have cameras everywhere and could easily review the situation and how she had completely lost her cool. Not only did I get the worst customer service in my 36 years on this earth, but I have never been so irrationally and wrongfully disrespected for absolutely no reason. If anyone knows how i can report this to corporate or get my refund and have this new manager fired before they erase the camera footage then please let me know. After over 10 years of being a patron at this particular location, I will never go back and I will make it my mission to sink this new management. The employees there were apologizing to me and made it a point to let me know that they struggle with the new manager’s behavior.

I came in and bought two pizzas. One pizza I was overcharged for, and the second was missing an item. I got home to bake the pizzas, and both pizzas were completely bland. They had no flavor whatsoever. I decided to call the manager Billy the next day to try to resolve the issue. He stated that he could only remake, and he would never issue a refund despite my offer of bringing the uneaten food back. Instead of being apologetic, he immediately got defensive and said he makes hundreds of pizzas a day with no complaints, and he wouldn’t care if I ever returned. He lashed out for no reason. I was trying to be civil and understanding, but I will never return with management being so awful. I have shopped at this store for years, and I have never had an experience this bad. Completely no regard for the customer experience. I will be escalating this further. Billy was completely out of line and disrespectful. Zero stars.

First time getting this pizza to-go: it was absolutely delicious. Tasted fresh and was devoured!
Only recommendation is to add more cheese before you throw it in your oven.

10/10 – highly recommend! Freshest pizza I’ve found in Mobile to date!

A friend of mine had gotten a special independent order pizza here and it was tasty. I liked the pizza with fresh mushrooms. When I went to strip mall to go shopping I went in to see menu and watch them make pizzas. I liked the fresh items they use for toppings. The staff is nice, cooks well and cleans well. The prices aren’t low but it is good, fresh pizza.

I had trouble getting the first bank card I tried to use to go through on my online order, so that I could receive the $8.99 summer deal for pepperoni, veggie, meat or cheese. I called the Mobile, AL location and let them know the problem I was having and asked if I could do a phone order after telling the young lady I received a invalid zip code error and then on the second try a “basket error” which I wasn’t quite sure what the second error meant. She was extremely dry toned, unhelpful, and non informative. I asked could I read her my order and come in and just pay since I was having online trouble and she immediately shut me down before I even finished asking my question with the response of “NO! It’s only online!!!” Realizing she wasn’t going to offer any assistance or suggestions for my problem, I then asked “well what else can I do to receive the discount?” She snappily and irritatedly replied “order online or look up the customer service number and call…” -Sadly this is not the first bad experience we’ve encountered at this location. The same girl was inside at the counter on my first visit here and we received the same kind of service from her. It’s easy to remember an unpleasant standoffish voice when looking for good customer service, which is how I recognized her voice on the phone. I have absolutely no complaints about how she made the pizza because both times they were delicious. But a better staff with actual customer service skills are desperately needed at this location being it’s the only one located in Mobile. AL. Nobody wants to spend they’re money where they don’t feel welcomed or appreciated! My prayers go out to the young lady in hopes that she may appreciate her job more and value the customers as the neighboring upscale businesses do.

I can’t say enough about this place , from its always fresh ingredients to its hand tossed crusts form thick to thin, there is nothing bad I have not here. On this particular trip I came to get my favorite the Angus Steak & Roasted Garlic which I always add sausage and feta. The staff is pretty accommodating and the wait is usually not bad. Keep in mind they do get slammed. But what is cool you get to see them making your pizza as you wait and you get to see your ingredients. I cannot get enough of this place and will continue to support this chain. The options for your pizzas are endless and have gluten free and veggie options. Definitely give them a try.

Called in an order on 4/26, the person answering the phone simply said “Yes?”, they didn’t say hello or Papa Murphy’s, I had to ask if I had the right number. After completing the order I said thank you, and she said “ok”. Picked up the order, no greeting, simply “Did you call in an order”. I paid for my pizzas, and said “Thank you” to the surly staff member (she was apparently the only staff member there, and she was the one taking the order on the phone). She replied “uh huh”. Name on the receipt indicates the “Host” was Brantley. I was there at 3:29, ordered a Cowboy and a Mediterranean Chicken. Love your pizza, been a customer for years, never had such a lack of friendliness or courtesy. I guess I should have gone to Mellow Mushroom, because it’s doubtful I’ll return to Papa Murphy. No one wants to spend their money somewhere that doesn’t at least appear that they appreciate your business.

Service at Hillcrest location was not acceptable at all. Receipt said her name is Britney….SO rude when I called in the order and even worse when I picked up my order. Very, very rude! She does not need to be working as a representative of Papa Murphy….very doubtful I will ever go back!
