i ordered a pizza for delivery last night and it was the worst pizza i’ve ever gotten. i have ordered from this location almost a year ago and it was awful. i started going to the one in mill creek even though this location is closer to me, but last night i wasn’t able to pick up which is why i chose delivery. i knew the order would be placed with this location because of distance, i was hoping that this place had gotten better since i stopped ordering from them. unfortunately, it has just gotten worse. i threw the pizza away in my dumpster like this. it was sloppy and tasted horrible. i couldn’t even hold my slice up, it fell apart entirely in my hand. i called just a few minutes ago to see if i could get a refund from this location. the general manager was really rude on the phone and refused to give me a refund because i had already complained about my previous order i had made almost a year from them on doordash. the manager kept saying that the pizza looked fine to her from the picture i sent. i will always pick up my papa john’s pizza from the mill creek location from now on. this place sucks, the management and the staff are all rude. the general manager said she’s been doing this for 12 years. well girl, looks like you need to find something else to do. order here at your own risk. i would leave negative reviews if i could.

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at this Papa John’s. My order instructions were ignored — I specifically asked for no olives and no mushrooms, but both were on the pizza. Also there were added jalapeños I did not ask for! The pizza itself was undercooked, sloppily made, and unevenly cut.
When I arrived to pick up my order, the staff didn’t acknowledge me for several minutes and didn’t offer a greeting. I decided to give Papa John’s another chance after a bad experience with unprofessional staff at another location, but unfortunately this visit confirmed that the quality of service and food seems to be consistently poor.

Update: Matthew Otto-Montero, the area manager, emailed me asking for more info and then ghosted me after I spent time providing more information. As if my time wasn’t already wasted enough.
12/22/2025: They allowed me to order online but when I showed up, they were closed during regular business hours.

This location and maybe the rest, deliver with DoorDash and the order will most definitely be wrong. We ordered 12/20 for my son’s 10th birthday party and the breadsticks were absolutely drenched in so much butter that it was dripping out the side of the box, none of the kids were interested in them- can’t blame them. And again -I ordered 1/31 and the DoorDash driver delivered 2 other orders first and then finally brought ours which was cold as it wasn’t in a pizza bag. I told him right away that there was a box missing and that he forgot the main large pizza- which was the reason we made the entire order to begin with. I call to get it fixed and the store won’t do anything, they told me it’s a DoorDash issue. And DoorDash is hard to contact since the order was through Papa John’s. DoorDash told me that papa John’s needs to handle the refund. I have emailed papa John’s many times and no reply. I’m still so annoyed. $40+ for cold pizza. Never again will I order from here. Such a bummer because the pizza is so good when it actually arrives.

This going to be a journey so brace yourselves.
Google
Whenever I search Papa John’s on Google Maps I get Papa John’s, Dominos, Pizza Hut, local shops, etc. Google Search is trash. This is 2025, tech is supposed to be getting better I thought.
Papa John’s (Mostly the web not this store)
I ordered online and at the confirmation I was met with a message stating that my pizza would be ready tomorrow (ordered on 11/18 ready on 11/19). Well, I never set it for a future delivery. I wanted it as soon as possible.
So, I called the store, and they told me that they could not change the order date. Which meant they could not make it. The told me to reach out to customer service.
So, I used Papa chat, and they told me to reach out to the store. They told me they could not change the order. While I was typing a response my chat session was ended.
So, I called the store, and they said they could only cancel the order and I could place a new one. What I was uncertain about is if my debit card had been charged or not. If it had I would have to wait to get my money back to place a new order.
What a hassle.
1) Have a way to change the date in your system, it’s 2025.
2) Why would the website default to a future date?
3) Essentially “hanging up on” customers doesn’t help your business.
The Positive
I like how Papa John’s pizza tastes in general.
The online deals are great (if you don’t have any problems ordering)
The people I spoke with seemed nice and wanted to help

this location has a really hard time with time management and staffing, everytime ive gone theyre ridiculously behind stacking up orders and you do not get to pick up your food til 20-30 minutes after its marked done and ready to pick up. today the male worker was repeatedly rude to the female worker “michelle” calling her slow, saying shes goofing off and to speed up, as he was not helping and just stood there speaking at her. many times i watched him leave to the back for numerous minutes while she had 15+ boxes in the que a full oven and 7 costumers in the lobby. i was not once assisted in the lobby while i waited for 30 minutes.

Went here to get pizza on Jan 25 and the pizza was horrible. Both pizzas were under cooked, very little cheese. One pizza was requested to be extra baked and was still under cooked. All the toppings were dumped in the center of the pizza and not spread out. I know it was a big football game and busy and why I ordered in advance, but this is just unacceptable. Had to fix the toppings and put the pizzas in the oven when I got to the house.

I went to Papa John’s to get a pizza the other day and I went back to the same one on 128th. The pizza that I got from that specific store the night before was hands down the best pizza I have ever had. There was a guy that was working I did not catch his name but he was the one who made the pizza. So I went back. I was glad when I showed up and seen that he was working again. When I got there it was busy, I mean really busy, there were about four or five people in the waiting area and here’s the employee, discussing the finer points of a sale with one gentleman, who was being difficult with him. The employee was handling it in a nice and calm tone. He explained the situation to the customer but it seemed like the guy was not getting the point the employee was trying to tell him. The employee then explained in a very calm and professional manner how he could help him. The customer was just being difficult for no reason. The whole time this employee was getting behind in his job. The employee was all by himself with no help and was still being as helpful as humanly possible with this customer.
As I sat and waited for my turn to order I watched him blast out about 5 orders. It was absolutely amazing to watch this guy do his job. I do not think that there are very many people that could have handled that situation any better than he did. The employee was very conscious that customers were waiting and let everyone know to please have some patience because he was the only one working and had been there since the place opened at 10 am. It was 930pm when I got there. I also know he was there the night before because I got a pizza from him.
He was killing it. I mean it was just him and he was getting all the orders out on time. It was crazy. I mean I had to wait for a little while but I didn’t mind because I could feel how much pressure was on him at that moment so I just waited till he could get to me. I understood exactly what the problem was. He was explaining that he was having issues with his workers not showing up or calling in sick. I have never in my life seen somebody pull off what he was doing. I was absolutely impressed. My pizza took a little while to get done but that was neither here nor there. I got my pizza and he even threw in a bottle of soda because I waited so long. All in all I will not get pizza anywhere else. I would recommend having a slice of his pizza.

After my husband I experience from trying to get a pizza delivered last night and me calling corporate to enter a compliant I sure would have thought your GM would have made a effort to reach out. So I called your store this afternoon requested to speak to the GM which your RUDE EMPLOYEES REFUSED.. Now I’m leaving another Google review, will CONTINUE TO DO SO UNTIL A GENERAL MANAGER OR SHAQ HIMSELF INSISTS ON THIS LOCATION Shutting DOWN!

Walking into Papa John’s, I expected to be welcomed with warmth and the smell of fresh pizza. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. From the very beginning, the customer service was disappointing. I had already spoken with someone on the phone about placing my order, yet when I arrived, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unwilling to help. Instead of treating me with courtesy, the employee acted as though taking my order was a burden.
The pizza itself was another letdown. What should have been hot, fresh, and inviting turned out to be poorly prepared and lacking quality. The flavor was bland, the texture unappetizing, and overall, it felt like a careless attempt at a meal. For a company that promotes itself as a reliable choice for pizza lovers, this experience fell far below expectations.
What made things worse was the attitude that came with the service. Rather than showing professionalism and care, the staff seemed dismissive, almost as if the customer’s presence was inconvenient. A restaurant should never make its guests feel unwelcome, yet that was exactly the feeling I walked away with.
I personally run my own business, and I understand how important it is to earn the trust of every single customer. To me, genuine communication, respect, and attention to detail are not optional—they are the foundation of success. Every customer deserves to feel valued and supported, no matter how busy the day might be. That is why this experience at Papa John’s stood out so negatively: it lacked the very basics of customer care.
In conclusion, this visit to Papa John’s was garbage in both service and quality. Everything about the experience left me disappointed. I cannot recommend this location to anyone and strongly advise others to avoid it. A business cannot survive without customers, and when respect and quality are missing, trust is lost.
