Worst customer service experience. They were fully aware of a fundraising event yet came completely unprepared. Only one driver was available, and it took nearly two hours for us to receive our food. When I called to follow up, I spoke with Robert who neither apologized for the delay nor the inconvenience and instead hung up on me. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Excellent location. Just zip in and out from waipahu road. Plenty of parking.
The sausage pizza was great. Because we had ordered half and half, and had to pay as if we ordered a full pizza, we joked and asked if we could take the full portion of topping and put it on the half. What do you know. They did.
For those of you who don’t know. They charge for toppings. Now if you order half n half. You get only half toppings but still get charged as if it was a full pizza. So if you ordered a full pepperoni you would get sixteen slices of pepperoni. If you asked for half pepperoni, you only get eight slices. So instead of two pieces of pepperoni on each slice, I now get FOUR!
I had to drop one star for, no pepper flakes, pramesan, and garlic sauce. Still had pepperoncini. Yum!

The popolo guy was amazing and trying even tho he didn’t take my order. Aunty that I think runs the show was not helpful at all. I informed her I waited an hour and she said ? “Oh what you ordered… n said oh yah I just made it!” Mind you I ordered it at 5:30 and it went in at 6:15! The best thing it was sitting for long time on rack and all she was worried was about the boxes being labeled. Had customers and she payed no mind in asking if anyone been help or need help. She assumed everyone was helped. The best part, I was first to order at 5:30 and 4 people came after me got all there orders plus Del man took 4boxs pizza for delivery best part this is all made n done after my order (small order) as I walked out delivery man returns. Everyone happy n all I got was so sorry thank u for waiting nothing offered in the long wait just sorry n it’s being made responses. I know they busy n work hard but sorry they were not busy at the moment

Called order in for carryout was put on hold for payment. Decided to drive while I was on hold lady working when I arrived said can I help you I reply yes please that’s me on hold she reply ow well hangs up phone. I paid for pizza than they tell me another 18 min. After I placed the order online they said 15 min it took 17 to drive now I have to wait another 18 min no apology or discount. Never again will I come to this papa John’s .

First and last time I will order Papa Johns from this location. Ordered at 6:09pm, online tracker said 41 minutes. No update up until 7:20pm when I called. Store claims they were waiting on a doordasher? I didn’t order through DoorDash, regardless I was told driver is on their way.

The pizza and service here was fine, however I felt inclined to give a two star rating because they didn’t provide information about the specials they currently have. I ordered 2 large one topping pizzas, which totaled $64. Upon arriving I see that there is a deal for 2 large pizzas for less than $35. I understand that it’s my responsibility to know but they should’ve made an effort to inform me as well. The same way they tried to upsell me drinks and desserts, is the same way I’d like to be informed about deals. It’s simply bad business.

Always loved Papajohns Waipahu. My last review was based off of their delivery service through door dash. At the time I was not happy with the service, but I gotta give credit where credit is due. They really stepped it up and I am happy with their service. I hope this trend continues. Great job !

This is our go-to Papa John’s since we moved from town some time ago. The staff are always friendly and the service is top notch. If there are any issues with our pizza (it’s rare), the managers on call are always willing to replace or provide credit for future use. Mahalo nui to the staff and management at Waipahu Papa Johns for always delivering the best pizza in the area.
